Hi, I have just found out that you can view a shared calendar through OWA 2003by adding /mailname/calendar. But is there any way that you can simplify that as when users go to that address there is no way of getting back to your own mailbox etc... Is there a way that a link can be created on the users mailbox page to link to that site. Some users would find this some what confusing as the only way back is by removing the mailname/calendar. Any ideas would be great. Faza

Try using Public Helpdesk It is integrated into Outlook installs itself as a public folder. It is free to education sites and I have never had an issue with. It creates tickets and loads of reporting features. kalmstrom.com Outlook Solutions ? leveraging your Microsoft Faza

I want to set up a FTP site where users can just upload a couple of files. But i would like approximately 20 -30 users to access their files only. I have tried to create folders but when other users login they can access other folders on the FTP site. Is there away that i can set the FTP site up so when a user logs in they can only access their folder and files. I have changed the security permissions on the folders that i have created within the ftproot folder but made no difference. Any advice would be great Faza

I have recently changed my Internet reporting server. The IP of the server has stayed the same but the port has changed. I thought by just changing the port in group policy would push it out to the clients. But since we have changed the server the clients are picking up a totally different proxy server, the one that we use to use for the lcoal authoruty it does not reflect what is in group policy. I thought it may be down to the Mandatory profile we have. I removed the profile path out of a users account and logged on so it picked up the correct policies and configurations from the group policy, but low and behold it still came up with the local authority proxy and port not the one i have specified in the group policy. Hope someone can help.

Do you knoqw the VBS version of it net use H: /HOME

I have got a VBS script that maps several drives when users login one of which is the users home directory "H". Is there a way that when the user opens Microsoft Word that it opens the H:\. Currently it opens up the desktop first, so the user needs to type h:\ to get to there work.

Yes the user has credits i reaqlly do think it something to do with the STOPIT winprint and soon as you choose that option you cant print.
-
I have not put any restrictions on Printer port. I have checked the event log on both server and workstation and no clues to why not printing.

I have just built a new curriculum domain and installed STOPIT 3 as per notes. I have setup a monitored queue within STOPIT and configured it to use 1 credit per page etc… But when the user prints to that queue nothing is printed I look at the queue and it says “sent to print”. I have reset the Print Processor to STOPIT Winprint and RAW and to another one but it don’t work. I have unmonitored the queue within STOPIT and tried printing and it prints fine when I select HPZPP4wm for the Print Processor. Hope you can help.
