Hi, I have a SharePoint site which is hosted by our local authoirty. Within school when i logon i get the Mysite option but when i login at home to the SharePoint site the Mysite option is not there. I have tried the permissions but i am confused. Faza

Hi, I have a SharePoint Server 2007 and I inserted the My Inbox webpart. I have got SSO installed and configured, but it is not working for the My Inbox webpart. Is there some additional setting i need to configure in order for the webpart to logon automatically? Faza

I have this small problem we have recently created 1200 Google Mail accounts for our pupils. I want to give staff access to send e-mails to these pupils through SharePoint. I would like a new site with a list like Year 7 Year 8 ….. with their e-mail addresses. I have created the new pupil accounts with their e-mail address in a new OU in our staff domain. Then I have created a new group within SharePoint pointing to this new OU. How can I create a site showing the e-mail addresses and allowing users to filter to the different years. But the only thing is I want it like the Users & People view where you have a selection box and a option at the top saying e-mail users from the actions tab. It seems every time I create a new site/page I do not get the selection box or the option to email users. faza

I have setup a new Exchange 2007 address lists and i have started to add new contacts into it. But how do i stop them from showing within the default global address list. If i select hide from address list the contact is not visible in the default GAL and the address list. Faza

Hi, I have a Exchange Server 2007 setup and the default global address list. But we have just setup over 1200 pupil e-mail accounts on an external system. What i would like tobe able to do is to setup another GAL or address list to hold these new 1200 accounts. I do not want them inside my current GAL. So far I have created a new address list through the Enterprise console but i am having trouble adding the 1200 new e-mail addresse/contacts to it. Faza

I have just built a SharePoint server 2007 with sites. For the past couple of days i have been getting this error HRESULT: 0x8107025D. I have Googled and it says have you recently applied patches, hot fixes etc.. It also advises to change the security rights on the "FEATURES" folders which i have done and also added IUSR\servername to the folder with read access. The only solution i could find is that you need to logon to the SharePoint site with admin access and the site works fine. Has anybody else come across this error. Please help, it's so annoying!! Hi, I have setup a new page on the site. But how do I get rid of the two tabs Operations and Application Management. I want these two tabs to be visible when administrators login but not when users login. These two tabs are not present when I select the newly created tab for my new page. Thanks Faza

Hi, I am trying to synchronise a calendar with SharePoint server 2007. I have already got a calendar with all the content, but when i create a new calendar list within Sharepoint and say connect to outlook it creates a new calendar. I try to import a ics/pst file calendar items put on both ocassions it just imports the calendar items into the default calendar not the one SharePoint created. Hope someone can help Faza

We would like to stick to server 2003 if poss as all our other servers are 2003 and we going to run a server 2008 test bed in the near future.
