Tin foil works well too as a cheaper alternative. Ive still been shopping in discount/pound shops for consumables like soaps, cleaning materials and human cleaning stuff. 90% of the time I buy in bulk as it's cheaper than supermarkets.

Just did it again. It seems sporadic.

Most people I know head to Paris on Sunday, stay a couple of days in Paris then do Disney for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Then head back to Paris for a couple of days. I went for my 18th Birthday years ago (dont judge it was free to me) and an ex girlfriends family as a present for me and a load of her nephews and nieces as we all had significant birthdays in July. We went for the weekend and that was very busy. Personally I'd of liked to stay bit longer as we didn't get all the rides done due to how busy it was. There are loads of websites/forums with Disney hacks to save you money.

It's been fine since posting but crashed twice this morning again.

My mum went into Body Shop yesterday and they were giving out samples of products all in tiny plastic tubs all shrinked wrapped. The samples were about the same size as one of their products that comes in a metal tin. Surely they can rethink the plastic tubs and put samples in metal tins! I've cut down on a lot of plastic recently, most notable is that I have stopped buying the electrolyte drinks for football/running and bought a large tub of electrolyte powder that mixes with water. One scoop per 1l of water. I'd be buying at least two 500ml bottles per session so roughly 10 bottles a week. Not only reducing plastic waste but saving me some cash as well!

Using the App on a Pixel 7 Pro and if Im writing a long reply in a thread, the app crashes and takes me to my app drawer. Short replies are no problem and I can leave my reply open on my phone before hitting post without issue.

Different tyres work for different people/cars obviously. I had continental tyres on my old Fiesta ST and basically it was like being on ice round corners. On my current car I have Michelin Pilot Sport 4s and I'm sure I'll go for them again as I've been happy with them.

I cancelled my prime last year. I find that if you do enough searching of Amazon and not clicking on the first product then you can often get orders under £20 with free delivery. Or I bulk order stuff like personal hygiene stuff to take me over £20 for free delivery. Usually it comes within three days. For the TV I usually get the free trials and binge watch. I then make sure I cancel it straight after I've watched what I wanted.

My best hack was using a drain pipe between two buildings to run cables between them. Cut through the outside walls. Ran cables and tested everything worked and sealed the ends of drain pipe to the walls. To support it I ran a rope from one building to the other on hooks inside the pipe. Laptops that had foam underneath the hard drive, if the foam was coming apart I'd find bits of plastic about same thickness and tape them together to replace the foam Bodged many audio cables together to make what we needed instead of buying it to save money. Used to bodge a lot! Since working in a company, I don't think I've bodged anything!

Its like that in the school I've just left. All full time staff had to work unless booked time off.

Every job I've had my job title has been IT Technician. Current job title is Helpdesk Engineer. Exactly same job but in current work place I don't do any networking as there is network engineers So currently I do less work than my last role for more money. [emoji846]

Tesco's has started rolling their Christmas sandwiches out. Went to grab the last Christmas one the other day and it was two days out of date and looked very stale! I'm yet to see anymore locally but all the other Christmas food is out. The cranberry pork pies are good!

I've got a 2015 Dell XPS at home which is still running like a dream but I've got a M1 MacBook air for work. I keep thinking about upgrading my laptop to an Apple when it goes. I've only been using the Air for two months... I still love the XPS line but I've really started to think about moving to Apple.
