    Football, running, photography and being a leader in the Scout Association. Used to do a lot more but I've cut them out due to failing interest.

    Just adding to this, my Granny went to a mobility specialist too and they let her trial different wheelchairs/scooters during a month to see what works. They also do regular maintenance on it for minimal costs. Plus loan one whilst hers is in the shop.

    This. Also read the small print in detail! Just taken out insurance on a holiday and before I paid I noticed that the insurance had three levels of cover which all excluded covid cover. That was extra. The three levels all covered different things.

    My school always starts the year 7's, 11's and 6th form the week before 8's, 9s, 10s mainly on the fact to get the year 7s in and adjusted to the school whilst its quiet and the year 11s/6th form always leave around July after their exams. So I assume they have worked it out etc.

    My new job has a dress code of "wear what you like except pajamas" I did ask if there was restrictions that people were frowned upon for wearing, apparently there isn't but generally it's suitable every day clothing.

    I'm trying to find my Kilt. Not worn it for years, hopefully still fits. I'll get a lot of strange looks wearing it in the south of Kent.

    I'm allowed to take my tie off if I get too hot.... Kids all in PE kit, female staff in whatever. But on the plus side, my office is air conditioned.

    Google photos, We are a Google School.

    Staff using their own devices is an absolute no. We have a staff member who takes photos of in school events on a DSLR and transfers them to our storage and his own school google account as a back up I believe. On school trips they have compact cameras with SD cards, all then uploaded to our storage. PE department have iphones attached to our wifi without a sim card and photos get uploaded once in reach of wifi. Our trust does have a photographer but hes spread around 30 schools.

    My pixel 5 came with a USBC charger. Didn't know the Pixel 6 didn't ship with a charger...

    Don't Apple ship new phones without chargers? So there's no waste that way? Maybe if others followed then there would be less waste too. I'm an Android user and have about 4-5 USB-C chargers. My first USB-C charger still works.
