I know we can't go out of the house apart from exercise and essentials. I will be running, catching up on films and tv, finishing animal bench project!, learning to code and playing on my xbox. So what is everyone up this weekend?

It took me 30 minutes of telling them that Virgin were at fault when my internet went down, we went over the checks 3-4 times and every time I said I work in IT I have already done this otherwise I wouldn't be ringing and telling you this! Whilst Zoom are at fault too for security etc. They cannot be blamed for the users that post meeting details to open public domains and then get these people 'bombing' them. Like in the case of the church that posted the meeting details to their social media and got a lot of people joining shouting abuse.

I'd set up your Governors with O365 accounts at the same time rather than use personal emails. They can then use Teams etc and you have more control over what they can do with those accounts.

Im sure they could contact their union about that as they have got together to issue advice and stressing that teachers would not be expected to carry on the same work load. We are run by an academy trust although not in the trust as we are PFI and the trust has basically said the same. Although there will be some that'll use those comments as an extended holiday!

We are using Show My Homework as the main hub for all work but School has also bought into Kerboodle, Mathswatch and Pixl. The school is using Show My Homework where all the work is uploaded and the students either do the work on it as a quiz, task etc and links to the websites above with stuff to complete. Wouldn't be able to tell you how that is going though. 6th form are trialling lessons via Google Meet.

My work laptop is in my home office. Ive set myself that I work from 8am-16:00 which is my normal working hours anyway with an hours lunch and couple of comfort/drinks breaks. At 16:00 the work laptop goes off and I go for some exercise. After that my home office is used for tv/gaming etc. Seems to work so far but I've cracked from the lack of social interaction in the real world. Went from being out almost every night with Scouting and other things to staying in every night. Im now video calling but its just not the same.

Our school is only video calling 6th formers for lessons. Both students and staff were told basically to have a plain wall behind them with no other personal property behind so that only the student/staff was visible in the webcam.

Started watching Treadstone last night. It's in the Jason Bourne world of films but a TV series on Amazon Prime. I think its quite good but its not light watching as it jumps around to different story lines very quickly but they are all linked.

I've been working at home since last Wednesday and did my washing yesterday, I noticed a few things. The load was smaller than a normal week one load (normally two loads) as I have just been wearing the same clothes all day and I haven't worn socks since Wednesday..... So saving electricity and clothes life
