if you set the wake on in the morning for 7.30 in the BIOS don't ya have to go to every computer b4 the holidays and disable them?

hi can you tell me what laptops you use please. what ive done with our laptops is use "Q-res" and create a batch file so before you change to the projector it will change the resolution and its quicker than goin through the display options, when ya finished ive made another batch file that changes the resolution back.

Also forgot, you can set it to map the drive in the profile also and it will remember this for next time they log on.

Do they all use the same profile? you could add the shortcuts on the desktop in their

have you checked that service is set to "automatic" to start up, and have you installed any programs recently, we had this at our school before but it was peice of software (cant remember now) that disbled this service.

at my school, i can wear what i like, even tracky bottoms (dont obveously) but our school is layd back most teachers just come in wearing jeans.

Hello, can any one help? in the ict room there are 11 comuters loged on under the same account. they have the same home folder and inside are different types of filles (doc, pub, mp3) pub files show in all the folders appart from 1 (derek) they are pub files in their because if you open publisher then go to open in will show the files, BUT if you go through the home folder it shows nothing in the folder. i have went into folder options and selected show hidden files and folders and still no luck, i also went onto the server and had a look on the actual folder and even the server didn't show the files. all the properties on "derek" are set the same as the other folders and the other folder do display publisher files, i have reinstalled office on the machine but it still happens and it also happens to all the other computers that log on under this login. PLEASE HELP!

sorry i didn't mention its not 6 users, it is only 1 user. The file is on a shard folder on the server, but if i open the file on any computer around school with the same user (ict) and get the same error. I can log in under a different user and access the file on the same pc or any and it will run. also i can copy the file from the shard drive and paste it onto the desktop and it will open and work fine from there. i also have tried a new profile but still get the message. thanks if anyone can help
