  1. Oh dear... I used the domain/username instead of @ or \ and it works on the SMB web share plugin without LDAPCapture. Would installing LDAPCapture allow for Moodle to show and access the shares without logging into each again? Wes
  2. Right my user area can be access only by the local administrator account removed all permissions but mine and nothing could log into it now it will allow local administrator (for the windows box the share is on) but no one else? Wes
  3. Strange at least now it can ping the server. However the Staff Shared Area logs in fine with my user and pass (tried with a fake and it returns a blank folder just like my user area?) if the shared area is alright why wouldn't this be? the share is only available to my account by default though?
  4. Although I can't ping the server in question using its FQDN only the IP looks like the settings for the DNS aren't there... I'll fix this problem first I think. Wes
  5. Nothing in the directory service log?
  6. however if I use the administrator account and password it works fine? It's using the local admin account I believe though for this. When I logout of the hoem directory then use the administrator account on the block it works fine? I'll have to check whether the settings for SMB are right. Wes
  7. Sadly I get the following: session setup failed: NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE [root@marianvle theme]# from the command prompt: smbclient //server/homeshare -U username Wes
  8. I've installed and configured the Block and the staff share works but the Home Directory (even though it's pointing to the correct share) displays the folder as blank? Any ideas what I've missed? Wes
  9. Found it's really easy to use CSS to rotate the image as well as overlay it. -moz-transform: rotate(30deg); -o-transform: rotate(30deg); -webkit-transform: rotate(30deg); filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Matrix(sizingMethod='auto expand',M11=0.866, M12=-0.5, M21=0.5, M22=0.866); -ms-filter: "progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Matrix(sizingMethod='auto expand',M11=0.866, M12=-0.5, M21=0.5, M22=0.866)"; Each of these rotates the picture by 30 degrees however MS and Firefox don't agree with each other as to the final location (IE looks much better actually, seems to be keeping the image proportions which makes the image sharper). Wes
  10. Just wondered if anyone knew how I would be able to dynamically rotate the profile pics and merge it with a default pic? As i want to frame the profile pic with another PNG file and rotate the combined image through 45 degress? i've tried imagerotate but I don't seem to be able to get it working? I'm using the Aarkvark theme and in the profileblock.php page it has the following to display the current user's profile pic: echo 'wwwroot.'/user/view.php?id='.$USER->id.'&course='.$COURSE->id.'">'.$CFG->wwwroot.'/user/pix.php?file=/'.$USER->id.'/f1.jpg'; Any ideas how I can change the img src to to allow me to merge and rotate? Wes
  11. When choosing extended version of My Computer in IE i get the following: Line: 44 Char: 4 Error: unhandled error in silverlight applications code: 2104 category: initializeerror message: 2104 an error has occurred code: 0 url: https://***.***.***.***/hap/mycomputersl.aspx Any thoughts on how I can resolve this? Wes
  12. Has anyone else got SIMS .net and Moodle talking nicely i.e. so i can have class groups setup properly? Wes
  13. I've been trying with my phone but no luck so far (Android 2.2) it works fine with Active Sync so... I'll try it at home and let you know! Thanks Wes

  20. This used to work on older version dont know about vt58 though up, right, down, left. I'll have a look around I think I have an old controller somewhere for the VT58.
  21. Menu button on projector I think then its the bottom option or maybe the one above and it then has choices for clearing the lamp and the filter usage. Wes
  22. 1). Yep thats fine 2). ? 3). mail.sch.uk 4). TMG yep 5). mail.sch.uk (Internal DNS supplies an internal IP for that domain name)
  23. Externally. I have a couple of users that need access to seperate mailboxes so I was wondering how to achieve this with my setup as although OWA works with the direct school network name it doesn't with the TMG forwarded name? Wes
