  1. The problem is with the forefront TMG forwarding everything I think as https://internalservername/owa works but https://externalservername/owa doesn't? Wes

  3. When attempting this I get the following: 404 - File or directory not found. The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. this is because its trying to go to https://mail.my.sch.uk/owa/[email protected] however it should be going to https://mail.my.sch.uk/[email protected] as I've got owa pointing there instead and if you go to the second url it works fine so how do I (if possible) change the default url for this? Thanks Wes
  4. Just wondered what other people do to archive the companies old files? Is there any decent software to move files not accessed in months/years? I'd like something that would move them but preserve the folder structure if possible has anyone managed this at all? Wes
  5. Probably not gonna explain this very well but here goes: I want to be able to create a mail merge where each individual has a PDF created as a seperate file (hopefully uniquely named) which will then be emailed to the correct recipent. I have Office 2007 for the mail merge Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 for the PDF printer does anyone know how I can get the first part done i.e. the mail merge seperate documents and for part two does anyone know of a package that can email based on a filename? Wes
  6. Publish IMAP from Exchange 2007 through TMG 2010 - Does anyone know how to do this? I have an external url and ip for this with 143 (incoming), 110 (incoming), and 3101 (outgoing) available any ideas guys? ActiveSync is already setup for android and iphone and OWA for everyone else however blackberry doesn't like connecting to either of these so.... Wes
  7. Is there a way for Papercut to forward jobs bigger than say 10 pages or if the job is several copies of the same document to another printer and or photocopier on the network? Wes
  8. Yeah they want you to pay for something, maybe MS are gonna buy Apple (Maybe they already have and are just messing with us Steve Jobs is a clone from Redmond) Wes
  9. Shame Wes
  10. Anyway according to MS a motherboard can be replaced if faulty so either way thats what will have happened however that fault occurred, Wes
  11. Would a linux install count though? I.e. there is an existing OS on there I dont think MS states it must be a windows install does it?
  12. Depends sometimes it's attached to the case (yes I know its sutck to the case anyway lol) you would probably be okay tbh as if the motherboard fails and u have it swapped out the machine is still licensed (last time I checked). If not EES is so cheap you probably won't have a problem anyway. Wes
  13. Samsung CLX670 is a good MFP. USB port to scan onto as well as photocopier options both greyscale and colour. Wes
  14. I'd have to agree with our peers here over a leased line this would be an issue depending on speed however seeing as they are in the same borough and hopefully you are using the LEAs fibre then really you need to check what speed connection you've got 10mb would be the minimum but would be very slow if the cost of say two 8tb QNAPs is similar to 1 16tb i'd go for the two in all fairness. However how big are the videos and podcasts? If small files but just a large quantities then even 10mb may be enough if several 100mb then then 100mb would be my recommendation or two boxes as the extra connection speed will come at a cost. Wes
  15. Depends if you want trusts there or not if you use iSCSI LUNs then the servers can connect to the storage as a share on each site and you can decide whether they should both see all the LUNs or just the ones relevant to them? Wes
  16. Managed to get it working the way I wanted in the end thanks for all your help Steve! I just changed the macro from Range("I" & CStr(LSearchRow), "I" & CStr(LSearchRow)).Select Selection.Copy Sheets("sheet1").Select Range("B" & CStr(LCopyToRow), "B" & CStr(LCopyToRow)).Select ActiveSheet.Paste to Range("sheet1!B" & CStr(LCopyToRow)).Value = Range("'input area a'!I" & CStr(LSearchRow)).Value Thanks again Steve! Wes
  17. It's close sorry about the wording from earlier. Is there anyway of copying the value from the cells I and J on "input area a" into the cells you have done on sheet 1 for the referenced cells as well or isn't this possible? Wes
  18. Sheet name is fine I just want to put I and J into Columns A and B on Sheet 1 and not use A and B? Is that makes sense the main reason for this is the team names that will be put in that could be anything not just team 1 2 3 or a b c? Wes
  19. I'm looking at changing the B and C on the macro to display I and J instead as the excel sheet names are just placeholder the real names are completely different how would I change this round? Wes
  20. How would I go about Tar'ing the system up? Wes
  21. Thanks Steve thats great! Wes
  22. I'm trying to convert from my physical Debian installation to a Virtual one I've created a virtual debian image however Platespin Vmware converter and xenserver (P2V) don't convert. XenServer and Platespin say that its an unsupported OS and vmware converter won't run on debian (mostly because it's a server not a desktop so it has no gui for the converter to run under) Wes
  23. Has anyone virtualised a debian install to VMWare, XenServer or Hyper-V as I am having difficulty managing this? Wes
  24. I want to move a Debian LInux install to VM however when I try it Platespin states the following: (Source) The Operating Sysem type or version is not supported (Source) The conversion to the target server is not supported (Target) Conversion of Linux Source to XenServer are not currently supported I'm running version 8.1.3 (6987) and Debian Linux 5.0.4 Could you tell me if there is anyway of converting this? The errors make sense i.e. it doesn't support the OS but I'm using a pretty old version so not sure why this would be? Thanks Wes
  25. How would I do the same thing using the printable results sheet and putting it into the league table sheet under each division? Thanks Wes
