So it has picked up the usb, just isnt redirecting it over to the virtual machine. This is the same issue i had for 2 months until i kept messing with config until it worked for me. I will send you my configs as soon as all servers are up.

Does it by any chance show up with vusb:idnumber has been redirected to d:? I would need to check at work when servers are back up (power being redone) what my settings are on device + wnos file

Okay that looks fine. 1) are the devices ThinOS? 2) is the usb device you are trying formatted as NTFS?? If so, any chance you can try formatting a device to be fat32. 3) when you plug the usb in what does the event log say? Does the thin client acknowledge a usb has been inserted??

Have you changed the options in your WNOS.ini file?? Can you add SessionConfig=ALL VUSB_DISKS=yes to your wnos.ini?

We are moving away from traditional servers brought from dell and instead buy a box from eBay and kit it out with consumer grade hardware! We have Dell vWorkspace/RDS setup with Wyse AIO clients, mind was was not entirely made up until it was put into action, it does not work for us where anything related to adobe flash professional and premier elements is used, so i put them all in offices where they do not need anything fancy and it works great! I am building a custom built server for graphics intensive apps, so far my i7, 32gb, 10Gb Ram, works great for 30 concurrent desktop sessions, stress tested using a software a while ago. It was put into place before my time and was designed and implemented in 3 weeks!! Did not work at all! And for this reason i second Jambon in saying that keep Suites to fully fledged desktops.

One of the schools i help support have their services all through RM, moved away from lgfl services and i must say the network manager hated RM but since he took over 2 months ago has slowly warmed to them. He has managed the contract to the tee and would now even recommend them. (I wouldn't but thats for personal reasons/issues) They no longer need my help fully unfortunately for me. (Although i still help with purchasing)

Sorry! I just reread your post and realised it was post boot download that you wanted to speed up. This has always been fast for us but i would be interested in what other values you have changed to make it download at 950mbps. Have you had any issues of packet loss yet?

Hi there, There are log files you can check, but for the life of me i cant remember where to find it. Can you check if you can reach the c$ and admin$ shares? If so, check your dns server and scavenge ur stale records. Happened to us before i recreated the DNS server.

Blustream is also good. We use that at work only cos i use it on private jobs and have direct contact with some of the heads there

I just upgraded to 1602. Class of 30 machines used to take takes over hour and half to do. Same image with wds only took under 25mins. There is however a article online by Garry hampsden i think his name is on how to speed up deployment by a registry hack which improved our speed to roughly 40mins in a class of 30
