Star Trek meets Habbo Hotel, anyone?

Be honest, you just want it because of that amazing rainbow keyboard. I've had a soft spot for the Alienware products as the spec's do seem fantastic, but it's always the pricetag that puts me off - is it really worth all that cash? (I don't know anybody IRL that has one so unable to see one in the flesh)

I bought an LG 42LN575V last summer from Argos for £450 at the time. 1080p Smart TV, built in freeview HD, built-in wireless so you're not forced to use ethernet to utilise smart/internet features and as far as I'm concerned the picture quality is beautiful and for built-in speakers they're not too bad a very good TV all in all and software/firmware updates are active and available with ease, I imagine there are newer models out now though. I'd recommend LG any day!

I couldn't get into GRID, always found it was just a case of "Hold down W and steer and get to the finish line" - no real skill needed DiRT 2 on the other hand, that was fun agree with everybody else here though that NFS has gone downhill badly, my favourite of the series though if I had to pick one would be Underground 2; mainly because of all the fancy customisations you could make to the cars oh and "Riders On The Storm" with Snoop Dogg, best track in the game I think

Pants, I was quite enjoying the setup of paying £4 a month for my web/domain hosting and then free e-mail hosting with up to 50 accounts using Outlook.com in my defense I read the e-mail very late at night so obviously didn't read it properly, guess I can keep using it as I don't think I'll need to create any more accounts on it. At least I have time to look around, thanks all for the help

So I've just had the e-mail come through informing me that Outlook.com is removing sign ups for custom domains now. Like most things though the first sign of a key feature being removed is usually indication that they'll remove custom domains altogether. Figured I may as well look into transferring it over, just wondered if anyone had suggestions of where I can host my emails? Where's best at least? (My domain is on a webhost, current email uses MX records to the Outlook.com servers and so forth) Thanks

Haha likewise had it on the 360 when it came out, but I'll still buy it all over again on PC - and ruddy enjoy it! let's hope they allow mods!

Also a good tactic is to get a car that's uncommon for your age. When I was 19 a Volvo S40 diesel was cheaper for me to insure than a Corsa. Madness!

I must admit on the other hand I enjoy messing around with the console (on a separate/dedicated 'freeroam' save of course) - spawning lots and lots of stormcloaks and lots of lots of legion soldiers, throwing a dragon in, maybe some trolls... it's a nice sight to sit back and see who wins Oh and doing setscale 0.2 on Giants and Mammoths, hehehe

I'm still playing it, appropriately partnered with a ridiculously long list of mods and the official DLC packs - using Nexus Mod Manager to keep it all organised, I just can't find this game tiresome - same applies to Fallout 3/NV, there's always something out there to add to these games that completely refreshes it for you 'tis why I love PC gaming that allows for modding communities, they keep even the oldest of games alive. In my opinion, at least. EDIT: The way I play.. well, as sad as it sounds I find myself roleplaying while I'm playing the game and I actually go into character. I'm currently playing as an ex-Imperial Soldier (who, ironically, is an Imperial) who saw the light after realising the current Legion are a corrupt force. He's not too sure if he'll fly the Stormcloak flag or if he'll go his own path, but he'll get there.. one day... I'm Morgan Freeman. But yeah, I'm doing a cross of one-handed and archery - his primary 'side skill' is Smithing, but he may delve into some Alchemy. But Archery is so fun, it's jolly good fun to pick off a group of bandits one by one whilst sneaking, saving the leader til last so he has time to change his underwear first. Mwuahahah! @X-13 You're wise to not buy games you doubt you'll like, unfortunately I haven't learnt from that one - I'd say more than half of my Steam Library alone is full of games I've bought and not even loaded to the main menu for the first time..

My wallet is already packing its bags before Payday arrives.... that is one tasty monitor!

Indeed, I feel the same - particularly with games like the newer Fallouts, or Skyrim (as an example.) It's nice on the Xbox, but I've been playing it again on the PC recently and it just looks SO much better - coupled with the gazillions of mods I have installed, it's pretty much a whole new game again. That's what I find beautiful about modding, the right mods keep the game alive and fresh. A quality you won't get on console games/platforms that restrict modding no matter how much 'DLC' is thrown at it. EDIT: Or things like GTA San Andreas; Multi Theft Auto/SA-MP are probably the main reason that game is still 'active' - it'll be 10 years old this october!

Care Home/Residential School here so yes, always in! Glad I'm not the only one haha sun's out and it's fairly quiet as they've all gone out on trips, so not a bad day really! Good chance to get all those little niggly problems sorted out that have gone in the "I'll do that at some point" pile

@Epick no worries - have you tried disabling EWF..? I'm not sure if it's on all of the TragicInfo range but on ours they have Windows XP Embedded with EWF enabled, so any changes we make to the hard-drive are 'temporary' layered and then wiped upon reboot. Perhaps that's why it's throwing a fit with you trying to install 7? Apologies for not sounding 100% on that but it still may be worth a try!

@Epick Sorry for the late response. We haven't got the Revo's in yet bud, the digital signage is a "WIP" as a whole right now - what issues are you getting exactly? A quick google came up with this from a 'review' on Acer's website for the latest Revo product: Hope that's of some help??

Hm, I may have to consider the 66U rather than the 68U - will see what the wallet says! But looks great, and thanks for the upgrading tip. Just checked and they all all support PPPoE as well so that's a relief (I'm on BT Infinity, unfortunately!)
