725 children, 85 staff, 120 desktop PCs, 100 laptops, no tablets (yet). Just me, the ICT Manager. And yes, if its got a plug on it, I end up dealing with it. That's what makes the job so varied though, and that's why we love doing it!

I've solved it! Or rather, Michael from KM support has solved it. Turns out there was a dodgy SSL certificate stored on the copier. Exactly how this prevented only 2 PCs from printing I'll never know, but at least its all working as it should again! Michael is a sound bloke - i'll PM his contact details if you are still struggling...

So when's today's video coming along? Is Al still poorly? My youngest has just been sent home from nursery with 'chicken pops'!

I've been racking my brain (doesn't take long these days) but can't find anything different with the PC. Same OU, same switch in the cabinet even. The only difference is that the copier in question is a C454 and the two that do work are C364, but every other PC in school can print to it!! This afternoon I've even brought one of the offending PCs into my office and tried it with the network cable from my PC. Yes, clutching at straws, but what else can it be??? This did use to work on EVERY PC so something has changed, but I can't figure out what and its killing me...

The weird thing for me is that it works on close to 100 computers without any problems, its just a couple that don't work...

We have several of these Konica Minolta biz hubs throughout school. on 99% of the computers, everything works fine. But I have a couple of machines that are refusing to print. We have them setup to verify authentication settings before printing, so when you click print, it asks you for a username and password. I'm using the same username and password as always, but it refuses to verify. I've tried a couple just to make sure, but still no joy. Following advice from Konica, I tried disabling the antivirus software and I confirmed the windows firewall was off but still I get the same thing. The printer is installed and configured correctly as it prints without an issue when I log in as an admin. But if I log in as anyone else it will not print . We have 3 Konica copiers on this network and the PC can print to the other two without any issues. I’ve also noticed that I can’t get to the web interface up for the copier in question, yet I can for the other two. I’ve even tried disabling IPv6 and using IPv4 only, but this also made no difference. In sheer frustration, I wiped the PC earlier and re-imaged it from a known working image, but it still has the same issue… Any ideas?
