After the whole debacle many moons ago with it being the spawn of satan I went back to trying Norton awhile back, seriously impressed with it install and uninstall routines were incredibly quick (no stupid cleanup tool needed) didn't kill the machine and just worked nicely, I used to use AVG when it was the only freebie available but went it off it a few years back when had a number of incidents of it completely trashing a few computers. I use Avast mostly for freebies it does nag a bit but it seems pretty good though.

It's not the best photo in the world but I kinda like it. Took it yesterday on the local beach and considering it was on my phone I'm really pleased with it.

Also worth remembering you don't always get 16gb from your 16gb phone. Remember ppl moaning on watchdog because their brand new galaxy s4 stuffed full of crap from Samsung only had 11gb of usable space (might have been less can't remember) so when you buy a 16gb phone and although it has 16gb 5gb is taken up by non-uninstallable software I can see the need for more

I've had joomla installs hacked way more often than WordPress. In fact on my own servers WordPress has not yet been breached. As long as you harden both you shouldn't have a problem. Don't have administration account as administrator or administrator, disable everything you aren't using, chmod the right permissions everywhere, good quality passwords. I once hadn't finished hardening a joomla site and it was already compromised before I'd set it all up Wife loves WordPress with custom themes to make it stand out well. I started with joomla personally but these days it's all WP for us

Before one of those lovely G5s turned up the wife was running Snow Leopard on a Q6600 was totally 100% stable She wanted back onto apple hardware tho so meant downgrading CS again and going back to 10.5.8. If you're careful in your choice of hardware OSx86 is perfectly stable not legal but stable. As long as you stay away from the dual 2.5ghz G5s they're still brilliant machines, especially with an ssd drive plus shed loads of ram too. I think the key thing is neither camp is going to be swayed by the other, for me healthy competition is a good thing drives improvements through etc. My wife's cousin is an Apple freak I mean he's on Facebook all day slagging everything off except apple. He was banging on about the Android vulnerability to Heartbleed but call him up on the stray line of code that screwed ssl on everything apple and he doesn't like it. He bought 2 Samsung tabs just before Xmas when they were £79 and went mental that they didn't have kitkat on them. Does make me laugh and that's always a good thing.

Why has no one taken that up with the game devs then, the hardware looks fine and should run it fine. Why is the reviewer not slagging off "insert lazy Dev here" and blaming the hardware manufacturer though. I've seen it before but only with the utterly useless Sky app that they lock down apart from the devices listed. From specs listed there's no reason why it wouldn't play whatever title though. All theore reason to custom rom it or even just install it on another device and then nick the install file then install on the Archos by hand, not ideal but bet it'd work

I'd like to know what they mean by incompatible with many key Android games? Sounds like rubbish to me the specs are similar to many Android tablets so can't be an architecture problem. Anyway bet there's a good custom rom for it now, seriously tempted for £42

Trick I thought was something with a wide enough lens, this jvc has 170 degree lens on it! Got this tasty little jvc toughcam it's designed for people base jumping etc so shock proof, water proof, records at 720p on to SD cards. Got it for £120, £30 for half decent tripod and 32gb branded sd cards £10 each No one's used it yet and knowing our teachers never will be for "personal review" but I guess it ticks a box having something available to teachers if they do want to use it

You need model number Cxxxx Drives are backwards compatible usually but not forwards compatible. You're probably better off unless it's a newer drive budgeting for an lto drive to replace it

When I used to do work in waitrose we had a spate of this happening ok was a few years ago on scsi drives but it's still a possibility and something to consider before just shitting them off, triple checking backups etc there's no harm in being cautious is there

No you need to chill out for jumping down my throat for something I never said the first place AND I don't buy apple in the first place I hate the company I hate the wall garden approach and I certainly never intimated anything about their build quality. Can I invite you to reread my posts because I actually agree with you so don't really get why you're picking a fight with me in the first place Oh and I pointed out that they aren't identical (which you conveniently overlooked in the post you quoted) that the keyboard shortcuts are different. You may not use them but my wife has been using photoshop since v1 and uses the keyboard shortcuts more than clicking in menus so from that pov it would make a big difference to her productivity and a big difference to the grief I'd get as she loves os x (not apple just the os) So not really sure why you're having a go at me??? Oh don't think I claimed to be mature on any other posts either, something I'm quite proud of actually, keeps me youthful, good looking and a huge hit with my colleagues so :-P

As for Windows no she's been a designer since back in the day and a proper Mac fan ie she's been a mac user since before they became cool and idiots started ranting about them. Picked up a dual 2.0ghz G5 tower the other day locally for £60 320gb hard drive & 120gb ssd, 4gb ram plus 10.5.8 installed and Adobe suite and it really flies along the wife (graphic designer) is over joyed so much so as she picked up a website job for £500,sweet Tbh those g5s are easy worth £60. What spec are they?

Not used them a lot but never had a problem with tts. Twice had a problem with an order and both times they refunded the faulty (but usable) item but told me to keep it AND sent a replacement!!
