  1. And that's the Hive/Tyrant guard done https://www.instagram.com/p/CucaZg4qrNL/
  2. Funnily enough, I put together a reasonably-budget PCPartPicker list the other week. Prices are still higher than they used to be, but a full build for <£900 isn't terrible. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/VbJTd9 Could probably jimmy a few of the parts around to save a bit of money, it was originally £850 so something has gone up in a few weeks but eh.
  3. You don't use the < and > for the rfc822msgid, just [email protected] The system cannot find the file specified might just mean you need to use .\gam.exe instead, depending on what your console is.
  4. Found my old thread documenting my PSGSuite code for doing exactly this Bonus points, it tells you if the email was read or not, which is useful when it's something confidential being sent around. http://www.edugeek.net/forums/scripts/223887-g-suite-global-email-purge-report-if-user-opened.html
  5. There's also PSGSuite if you're more of a powershell aficionado
  6. Yeah, fair enough. Should be finishing my Hive/Tyrant guard tonight unless I get distracted. All the bases, main bodies, claws are painted (sans carapace inking) and the shock cannons are partially done. Only bothered building/painting/magnetising the Crushing Claws and Shock Cannons though as that's the only things I'll be using them for (even though shock cannons aren't amazing anti-vehicle at A2 S7 AP-1). I think Zoanthropes are our best anti-tank at the moment. Tyrannofex-Rupture Cannon is better on paper but Zoanthropes are far more versatile, have Synapse, and don't cost 200 points.
  7. I'm not really sure I'm on board with reprinting official models.. Totally-not-proxies-honest-guv like Artel W, Dark City and Wild Mesh are fair game, but I dunno about direct copies.. Plus resin is too brittle for me, I drop my models too much Regardless, I can't deny the print quality is great, and your painting did them justice
  8. lmao, you and I both know they'll just hang around until zero to see what happens. Kids that don't want to go to lessons (or don't place much importance of being on time) won't go to lessons/be on time, a countdown isn't going to help. The solution is a squishy one, they need to properly sanction lateness Might be worth looking into something like Xibo for your signage though. Or Chrome Sign Builder if you're a G Suite school. That'll let you do signage on a schedule, set it and forget it. (I suppose you could always have scheduled tasks but that's a lot of overhead for when things inevitably change)
  9. Forgot to upload these yesterday, managed to get the parasite nailed on Sunday. Pretty much all of it done in one day, happy with that. It ain't perfect, but compared to my first attempt, it's definitely an improvement! Started working on the Hive Guard now but I suspect I'll be considerably distracted tomorrow when Leviathan arrives
  10. Zoanthropes ready for 10th edition! Wanted to get them done before Leviathan arrived as they're in both my 500 and 1,000 list. And probably every list, because they're awesome.
  11. I don't suppose you heard back about this at all, did you? We have an open ticket on our helpdesk about kids with this issue (kids who haven't brought their laptops down to us so we can look at the issue further, would you believe? ) and we're pestering the teacher to send them down but nothing is coming of it.
  12. I haven't played any 10th edition games yet. I'm hoping to get a game or two in soon, but I need to finish my 500pts list since my only local opponents are very new to 40K. So far I'm at 440 for Tyranids and struggling to fill it out. Do I take out the Haruspex, drop my list back to 315, and build up from there? Probably should for 500pts, but I like big angy monsters, and carnifexes are the same cost. The new screamer is vastly over-costed though. 180 is not worth it.
  13. I think they're committed to the points/rules being always free. So they might reintroduce wargear costs in the codices but the freebies online would still get updated. Codices are just additional art, lore, paint schemes, etc. That being said, given the road map for codices being two years, I doubt they'll reintroduce it that way. Like you say, a dreadnought armed to the teeth is free.. So if I'm playing an army that has wargear costs, and you're not? Well flip the table on that game, I'm never going to win. So when/if they do, it'll be all or nothing I expect.
  14. Yeah I think that's going to be a thorn in everybody's side. My provisional 'Nids 1,000 is actually 995, so doesn't really count in this scenario, but in previous lists I've been like "Well, whack an extra 2 termagants in, easily points fill" which you can't do any more. I don't think wargear will stay free. I'm seeing a lot of people say this isn't the first time they've tried this, and it didn't stay free last time they tried
  15. Saw a lot of chatter about using Grey Knights' teleportation/deep strike to be able to dodge Battle Shock tests. Now GW have retconned it in the Rules Commentary Rules Commentary, Page 11 (Repositioned Units section 4)
  16. Points costs are live
  17. Annoyingly, two out of my three* armies are looking pretty dumpstered. Drukhari have lost so much of their fluff, and it feels like a lot of units have been nerfed. Sisters look like they've got zero anti-tank in an edition that's looking to be very vehicle-heavy and the strongest thing we have is S12 maces on the Nundams. Nids rules look fantastic though. * Well, technically I own Sisters models, but they're only semi primed. In my defence their bases are complete.. but they're not glued to them... Edit: Okay, after spending a bit more time ruminating over the new Drukhari rules, it seems like we've had a massive shift from melee to shooting. Incubi are no longer the MEQ blenders they used to be, which is a massive shame, because their entire thing was glass cannon, now they're just glass. Some of the guns got good, dark lances got very good. Our 'core' melee unit, Wyches, though, are basically useless without Lelith Hesperax, and are basically just meatshields for her even if you do take her. Transports were always a core element for us, but they're going to be used even more now. Lack of assault ramp hurts us a bit, but at least we get full firing deck. Also Urien Rakarth is just.. just useless now. A single one-shot ranged weapon? Torrent is nice but 3D6 S3 AP-1 D1 is a pretty meh statline. If they gave it Precision, it might've been worth it.
  18. We're getting the same here. Three students today that I've personally seen. I initially thought it was MacOS related but now we've had a Windows device too. I've installed Teams on a new device and I see Class Notebook in the bar at the top, but things look different from what the kids have. For instance, if I click on Teams on the left-hand side I don't get the big grid of icons, just a list in the left-hand a sub-menu Though, I'm also on W11 and it's a fresh install, so I'm wondering if it's just a bodged update? Did anything come to light with your environment since Friday? Edit: Interestingly, I just has a 'Teams has encountered an error' type banner that prompted a reboot of Teams, I forget its exact wording. When Teams re-loaded, all it had was Posts for five or six seconds, before finally Files, Home page, Class Notebook etc appeared. Might be related. Edit2: Is there 2 versions of Teams (not including work vs school)? The first installer I downloaded was Teams_windows_x64.exe at 139,081KB ('Version 1') which produced the behaviour described above. Then I found a different one from MS, TeamsSetup_c_w.exe at 1,411KB ('Version 2) which produced the UI as I expected it to. Now it seems it doesn't matter which version I install (even if I delete %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Teams, %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Teams and %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\TeamsPresenceAddin and %TEMP% to give myself the best 'clean slate'), I get the first UI I came across that doesn't look like what the kids see/what I recognise. But for a moment, using V2, I did get the typical teams UI I recognise, but now both of them seem to give me the same UI, which I had with V1 when I first installed that exe. Bizarrely, when I had the UI I recognise (the one with the grid view for all teams), the Class Notebook option was on the left-land list. On the one with the 'new'(?) UI, it's up top, which is where kids seem to think it should be. So I got no clue what's going on. Edit3: Grabbed from a laptop, this looks like the 'right' version, except the list is to the left, whereas the pupils I've spoken to expect it to be at the top Edit4: Ah, I think I've sussed the discrepancy between UI's. 1.6.00.13566 vs 1.6.00.12455. Bizarrely, both V1 and V2 exe's seem to install 1.6.00.12455 now, after one of them (presumably?) installed 1.6.00.13566 because I've seen that UI on the device I'm testing with. No closer to fixing the issue, though, as both versions display Class Notebook somewhere
  19. I'm Thornheart Minis Took a few weeks off for personal stuff, camping etc, but back on the grind now. Working on a Tyrannofex at the moment!
  20. Yoooo, drop a link! I started an instagram account for painting minis. 74 followers so far 🥳 Hoping I can eventually build up a bit of a following and start taking commission work.
  21. Apparently it's 28°C here. That's about 10°C too many.
  22. We had an email today that said girls can wear skirts and no tights (provided the skirts are knee-length) with massive emphasis on how hot the weather is/is going to continue to be Nowt for the lads though. Gotta keep up that prim-and-proper private school appearance
  23. I started watching FUBAR, I think I'm 3 or 4 episodes into it, but I'm not exactly itching to go back. It's a funny concept, but it feels like it never really figured out what it wants to be. It's not wacky enough to be a proper comedy, and it's not spy-y enough to be a spy show, and the characters aren't nearly developed enough for it to have any kind of drama.
  24. Got mine online this morning, £120 from Wayland Games. Fighting through all the Web page errors until it finally let me check out was fun! But I've got my confirmation email and they've taken the money so that's as good as I'm going to get, I reckon!
  25. By happy chance I noticed it wasn't forwarding as maintenance were asking us to look at a different issue. Thanks for this!
