Yeah, fair enough. I personally find New Recruit much easier to use than Battlescribe, but I think they're both bogged down by the fact that 40k is so rules heavy and there's just no pretty way to display stats lol. I've yet to actually get any games of 10th in either. In-person games, I mean. That one game I had on Tabletop Simulator notwithstanding.

To be honest I've always felt Typhoo tasted a bit naff, it doesn't surprise me that sales have slipped, especially since tea prices went up during COVID and, as is always the case, haven't really come back down.

Tries those. HFSExplorer and DiskInternals Linux Reader both require elevation to run. Total Commander doesn't recognise the USB stick, even with the plugins installed (even run as an admin) JHFSPlus only sees the active local disk partition unless run as an admin. In hindsight I'm guessing they query disks via Disk Management, which isn't available to non-admins..

Typically my go-to would be HFSExplorer, but that requires running as admin every time the user launches it, and it can't browse to network locations to backup (ok there's drive map shenanigans but that still doesn't defeat the elevation problem) AlternativeTo points me at HFS+ from Paragon which I might grab the trial of. Anything else that people use?

We've purchased a YeaLink WH62 (MSTeams flavour) for a user here. Plug the device in via USB, devices appear in device manager If I fire up a Teams test call, the base station lights up, the headset icon turns green, and if I press the pre-programmed mute button on the headset, the mute light toggles on and off. Wunderbar! .. except, there's no audio input. Output works. I can hear the test teams man tell me to record a message, but there's no mic. Finish the call, end up with this message: Windows settings shows the device, but the volume is fixed at 0. If I move the slider, it jitteringly resets to 0. Sound settings in old-style control panel show the device, but there's no volume bar next to it. If I go into the Properties, Levels, the levels page is blank. The typical Microphone array slider isn't there. If I set the device to Listen, no audio plays back. In the Yealink USB Connect software, I've set the Call Device to be Soft Phone and PC Softphone Teams rather than its default Desk phone (which I assume requires the other USB port to be plugged into a physical hardlined or IP phone), and successfully loaded the latest firmware. I've disabled Automatically adjust mic sensitivity in Teams and ensured Microphone is set to Headset Microphone (Yealink WH62) Pulling my hair out over this one. I found one page that said don't use Yealink USB Connect, but that bore no fruit. Edit: Oh, and, yes, we've confirmed the microphone works on a non-Windows device. Much to my chagrin. Edit2: It works on Windows 10 Why does it work on 10 and not 11

I've used BSV in the past, but I have to give another +1 for WhoCrashed. Of course, BlueScreenView is freeware, and WhoCrashed has a purchasable professional license, so I tend to use BSV in work and WC at home lol.

Slightly embarrassing to admit, but it has been explained to me over Discord and I was fundamentally misunderstanding how PHP worked. I didn't realise you could just put raw code into an include/require.php with snippets of <?php [...] ?> where you wanted programming. I was operating under the assumption that everything must be var'd and echo'd Every day's a learning day!

I feel like maybe it's just a syntax issue more than an if statement issue I found a few different if statements that (according to StackOverflow people, anyway) should work, the trouble is actually getting them to.. well.. work? Where does the if statement go? If I put it in $Menu = ' if (...) '; it doesn't work. Neither does $Menu = ' ' + if (...) + ''';

Never quite understood the whole thing about making websites into apps.. Every phone already has an app for every website that exists..

I don't know, that doesn't seem to work for me? Also wouldn't that defeat the point of making the menu part of a PHP require? I'm trying to not need to go to every page and update the code, page by page, whenever something changes.

I'm porting several constant elements of a website to PHP so that I don't need to hard code them on every page.. Header, footer, sitenav, etc. Typically the hard coded HTML would be: </pre><li class="currentpage">Page1</li><br><li>Page2</li><br><li>Page3</li><br>... /d with CSS defining .currentpage { font-weight: bold; } Is there a way to modify which page is .currentpage via the PHP? Can only agree with @3s-gtech, though it's probably worth giving each school a call. Obviously they can't confirm they have a kid matching that range, but if his phone is plastered in those kinds of stickers I have a hard time thinking they won't know exactly who you mean if he's on their roll.

Lol my point was more 'some major studios are starting to differ from the norm and thinking about a more varied demographic' than 'old fart needs help'. ... Could've definitely made that clearer, in hindsight.
