I think the most cost effective way would be nas server raid 5 1TB daily fullbackup. drives and tapes cost a fortune, pluss tapes need to be replaced every year to avoid backup failures, again can be alot of coin. you can use free software such as openfiler, freenas, bacula etc to achieve this.

Hi gang, My girlfriends dad approached me today asking me how he can get his website on the google search. He said he has managed to get it on the yahoo search but most people tend to use google. I took a quick look at his website WBC. At first glance I think its obvious why he is not getting on the google search nor do I think people would know what the website was at a quick glance. I'm thinking about redesigning the site with joomla but before I do, I was wondering if you could all comment on what is wrong/right etc. cheers

create the machine account on the DC first make double sure that the account credentials you are entering when prompted to join the machine to the network has all the necessary priviliges to do so. ensure dhcp is enabled on the laptop and you havent set any ip address settings in the tcp/ip config area. also worth doing an ipconfig /all in cmd to check settings are correct

may aswell open it up and clean the thing. you say it sometimes stays on all day and times it dosent come on at all. its def a heat problem, i would open it and give it a good clean out.

are you running .man profiles? is the any changes been made to the application data?

the bulb may need changing or if you have changed it, have you reset the bulb count life?

could be a temperature issue, is near any heating ducts? if you have hot air blowing on or circulating around the projector then its going to turn off to protect the bulb, and electronics.
