Linux server would be best, and it was also suggested by carl over at cs-new media. In terms of performace, linux the way forward. I am going for the diamond package (not sure what other people went for on here). mysql comes with the linux server package and will do you just fine. the other one is microsoft version of mysql. I too want to install the calender module, I think Its been brought up once before here on the joomla 1.0 projects forum. Will be taking a look on monday when I'm back at work.

I had a we problem running WAMP on Vista Ultimate, never got round to resolving the problem. Probably was me doing something daft

the boder colour around the page is missing and the image that constantly changes (at top of main page) is on every page of the site and not just the main front page any suggestions cheers

From what I can see, SINA dosent allow php msql websites to be uploaded. How did you all setup your school websites, are you with a hosting comapny and then phone internet provider in my case ngfl to point the address to the new host? thank you
