We have a shop a minute walk from the college. Strangely, they don't appear to have a website!

I agree - there are about 20 sitcoms on that list that shouldn't be there -

Met Police quizzed by London Assembly member over Windows XP

The hardware may not support W10 and replacing a whole swag of PCs that will is probably too expensive. That's the problem with modern hardware - it's just too reliable and far outlasts the o/ses. I remember when it was the other way around. -
I don't know if thus offer applies in Blighty, or if it of any use Learn to Code: Pay What You Want for 92+ Hours of Instruction https://deals.makeuseof.com/sales/pay-what-you-want-learn-to-code-bundle-1adc78b4-aae9-4bc9-bed4-f2f71bff233f?utm_source=makeuseof.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=pay-what-you-want-learn-to-code-bundle-1adc78b4-aae9-4bc9-bed4-f2f71bff233f_080416

Tarantula (1955) which Quest billed as starring Clint Eastwood - blink and you'll miss him! Absolute classic.

Thanks to this thread, I've gotten rid of the cyclops, got my pre-login screen and login screen all to be the same nice blue. Just need to find out how to get the lock screen to the same blue (or identify the hex code for the lock screen blue and change the others to match). Not liking the having to jump through hoops to switch all the carp off.

If you use Moodle, then MEDIAL | Media Library Software will do what you want (and a whole load of other stuff that you probably don't want)

The version on mediafire (first line here Classic Shell: Downloads) is fine - I downloaded it yesterday and I still have a partition table.

Not me - I didn't like the look of the trailer. I liked the look of the trailer for Wynonna Earp on Spike - shame it turned out to be rubbish - wooden acting and the cast didn't seem to be at all engaged in making the series.

Microsoft forces Windows 10 Pro to have advertisements
unixman_again replied to mavhc's topic in Windows 10
Presumably the ads are coming from Microsoft servers. If so, block those servers at the firewall. -

This Australian School Has Banned Clapping | Atlas Obscura Punching the air is probably, a sure fire way of upsetting somebody. "Miss! Miss! Johnny punched me." "No I didn't Miss, I was cheering silently."

We use this MEDIAL | Media Library Software | Moodle Video Plugin and we've done some test live streams and we are impressed with the results. The first use in anger will probably be open evening in September. You can live stream any IOS or Android device. You need the Wowza GoCoder (others might work) free on the app stores and you're good to go. Medial is a paid for solution, but we think well worth it. Their support is first rate.

I find I gym work much easier when it's hot. The one thing that I really hate about working out in the hot weather are those idiots who don't wipe the equipment down once they've finished with it. It was pretty warm in ballet class last night. There was a Zumba class in the studio before us and they are warmed the room up quite a lot.
