One of our teachers has been telling me about the long term problems with her wrist. Because she has limited movement at the moment, she has to put her other hand next to a mirror and exercise it whilst looking at the mirror. The brain thinks it's the poorly hand, which keeps the hand moving algorithms up to scratch.

There's a tribe on the shores of one of the Rift valley lakes whose diet is 99% vegetable. Every year there's a release of flying insects, a bit like our flying ants. Everyone in the tribe swishes bat like inplements around to catch as many as they can. They are then scraped off, squigged up into balls and fried into burgers. They are pretty black but the kids seem to enjoy them.

It's quite common. If you use the 27 point calibration rather than the 9, that can help a bit.

I thought you had to root if first so it could be unlocked. Isn't rooting like admin rights?

I'm trying to replace the drive in an Inspiron 1545. The owner wants to upgrade from Vista Home to Windows 7 but initially, I'm trying to install XP to make sure there are no other problems and that's the only install disk I have. The new drive is virgin with one partition, windows setup starts installing and then after a minute or so I get "A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer". I suspect it is the BIOS looking for a recovery partition but I cannot find a way around it. Any ideas please? (that should say drive. I'll leave replacing the dribe until later

We use Skype in school. Mainly for a young lady who is long term ill and we set up a video link for her when practical.

Our AUP states it's for school use only and must not be used by friends and family.

I've just bought one from ALDI for £15.99. It's 2.4GHz and claims 5 metres but I've got double that in our hall. Like all of the Tevion stuff, it looks and feels well made and has a 3 year warranty. One nice feature is an on/off switch on the mouse.

I've have this theory that every other blue moon, someone manages to resuscitate using cpr and whatever they did becomes the new standard. So, if someone was brought back by dancing a jig on their chest, that would become the new prescribed method. Truth is, unless it's a child, then the best cpr can do is keep the blood flowing until a defribrillator is used.

Does anyone know if the coding is pretty standard like Hitachi? The on/off is not working on our hall projector remote. I've tried cleaning the switch but that hasn't helped. It's a complicated remote and probably expensive to replace. All the other buttons work, so I just need to be able to turn it on and off. The projector is up in roof, so doing it manually isn't an option. Does anyone have an Epson remote they no longer need?
