  1. I managed to get it working fine with our 2012 server. Download the Office Integration Pack from Microsoft which enables you to configure certain aspects of the install, the only real change I made with this was inserting our OVS license key and setting the install to silent. As mentioned get the ADMX templates for Office from Microsoft and extract them to a folder somewhere. In our case I used the office15.admx & office15.adml files. Copy the office15.admx to the c:\windows\policydefinitions folder on the server Copy the office15.adml to the c:\windows\policydefinitions\en-us folder on the server I also copied office15.adml to the c:\windows\policydefinitions\en-gb folder just in case. In the RM management console I made a clone of the policies for usertype standard and staff and then based my gpo changes to these new usertypes leaving RM original ones alone. In group policy manager on the server select your new cloned policy type and edit it, you will see the various options available to edit for Office 2013 Hope this helps!
  2. Hi Nick, Can you explain more what I need to look for?
  3. I have the same problem even though the user is assigned a group which should give write access. Log below: As you can see this is reporting no write access. As we are an RM site I changed the permission of the RM Staff usertype to allow write access and it worked but this user is a member of a different security group which I want it to read permissions from. It looks like the issue is HAP is not seeing the security permissions on the other group. Do we need to add additional OU's for HAP to check them?
  4. Do you have the following in your web.config file: If not try adding it and test again.
  5. I have created a package for a CC4 network and used the office customization tool to create the package, all good but I am having trouble trying to import the ADMX,ADML files templates to manage user settings. I have copied the files in to the correct folder on the server per RM requirements but in doing so the RM management console states the root element is missing when trying to browse the user policies. Has anyone successfully managed to import the Office 2013 admin templates in to the RM management console?
  6. Home Access Plus+ - Download: v9.6 In the future versions just click the version number in upper right pane.
  7. I had the same issue. I added the binding 80 to the RM website but it still would not work so I have resorted to copying the section from the web.config file, is this ok. Why was http access support added when it is recommended that https is always used?
  8. Nick have you managed to add this setting, looked under the config page but I can't see it anywhere on my alpha version.
  9. Works great, Thanks
  10. Thanks Nick, worked a treat. While here can I ask if its possible to change the weeks names from week1,week2 to other names instead such as yellow, blue week?
  11. I am experiencing the same issue. Switched off 'use a proxy server' and tried going direct but no change.
  12. A quick option to add an image banner across the top for school branding. Does booking support allocating a certain number of computers? So for example 2 members of staff could share an IT room.
  13. Start>>Run>>gpmc.msc>>Right click and edit the default domain policy>>Computer Configuration>>Administrative Templates>>Network>>DNS Client>>"Register DNS records with connection-specific DNS suffix">>Set this as "Enabled">>perform a gpupdate /force from the server and the workstations need to be restarted.
  14. Very useful Thanks
  15. Thanks Nick just discovered what it does now. Having difficulty getting our banner to appear above the top bar at the moment. I will leave that account open for you to test things in future if you like?
  16. Now works Nick, thanks. What is the edit profile suppose to do nothing happens here when I click it.
  17. Tried a IIS restart no different, sending you a pm
  18. Using IE10 in windows 8. Tried refreshing browser but no improvement. Perhaps I will try a restart of IIS
  19. Just download the upgrade file at the bottom and then overwrite the files. http://hap.codeplex.com/downloads/get/528597
  20. Here is a screenshot of what the new top user menu looks like for me Nick. If I click the the username at the home screen then I do not see this but the top scrolls down a couple of inches and then returns back to the top. Have a good day at the seminar.
  21. Are you browsing to a https address? HAP requires a https setup. Is it a RM server?
  22. Found an issue with the filter drop down lists but seems to only happen in IE. When trying to select an entry in a drop down filter the drop down keeps closing even though my mouse has not left the dropdown area. The sort buttons do not seem to adjust the data correctly either. Tested in Firefox and IE
  23. It worked ok for me but I did go through and remove the read only attribute which was set.
  24. We had this problem, all you have to do is enable "Use this connection DNS suffix in DNS registration" on client ipv4 settings.
  25. I got it to work with using the domain name\netbios name$ of the IIS server. The $ is important I did wonder when trying to get around this issue if a user/password could be used in the connection string.
