are you running solus 3 on the sims server ive just been watching our server and the solus3 deployment services was eating cpu time somthing stupid. ive disabled it for now and its calmed down a bit sql is still hammering away so still not perfect but a bit better

i did and i agree i also found two county support units are calling for audit trails as change requests so voted for them as well im sure there must be some legal requirement under the dpa for it i just cant nail down the relevant section "Yet!"

i know but it buggs me so im going to keep bugging them ,,same as with the audit trail, really how hard is it to have sql log which user changed an address? according to capita ... Very we it would be if you wrote your software so every change is written to the database under sims_user and not the actual user.... thats just lazy

got the patch #18113 thismorning and it's fixed the issue im a happy techy now

we get the same ont teacher has 3 reports 1 has 4 another only has one there really is no pattern to it if you find out whats causing it please let us know as it driving our "kiddy catcher " mental. Cheers Andy

anybody else having problems opening sims reports (reports that output to a web browser directly) in chrome. we have just moved over to chrome and are haveing some problems this possiblly being the bigest one is there somthing i need to change as the reports work fine in ie or how can i have sims use ie but everything else use chrome? cheers Andy

yep user accounts are linked by groups in ad/ldap and they are presented with the ssl page when they open a browser, this is then locked down to only allow one connection per user as it stops them using each others accounts got a call in just waiting on the reply cheers Andy

oooh id never of thaught of that seriouslly ive already tried that the problem see,s to be that the certy is for smoothwall.*****.***** and the website is looking for one from 192.168.0.*** so the two certs dont match i'll give them anothercall thismorning Andy

Ive got a call in to the helpdesk but they are mega busy today so i thaught id ask here i need to push out the ssl cert via gpo to our machines after changing over our smoothwall from an swg to advanced firewall ive exported the certificate from the smoothwall box and imported it into a gp that is applied to all machines however when we go to logon through the smoothwall we get an error "the security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different websites address" we can click passed it to access the sites but id rarther get this fixed Any help appreciated Cheers Andy
