Thanks for the sweets from me too - a welcome boost to a confusing Monday morning -
It's going to be very "light-touch" when it is covering all the world's mountains in one short program. I do hope they will go back and do each bit in more detail in the future. Fascinating stuff!

Just been to see Arrival Was disappointed - not really what I would call sci-fi. Very slow and introspective. Nice idea underpinning the whole thing but not really developed and then it all ended in a sort of "they went home for tea" moment.

Me too. I remember watching it as a kid.

Shame you are so far away. We do have some older kit that might be of use (I would have to ask) but probably not worth it due to travel costs.

@simonw Happy Birthday!!

I have found Lenovo TECH support pretty good on the whole. - there was a bit of miscommunication at the beginning but that wasn't really the support techs fault. That was more to do with the delivery of replacements etc and the design team who refused to believe my issue!

https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Android-Yoga-Series-Tablets/Yoga-10-tablet-HD-won-t-start-or-charge/ta-p/1687481 Tells you to hold the button in for 60-odd seconds so maybe it is a Lenovo thing ?

I would register the issue with Lenovo Support anyway. None of mine have ever done this (she says, and waits for them to land on my desk )

Loved it - not least because DA pronounced it Slow-th which is how I was taught

This^ We use our suite for everything (360 pupil junior school) and it is certainly something that should be looked at if the suite is to go. We do homework club, strike club, interventions etc and it is somewhere for support staff to go and get things done when they have a minute. We run a full timetable of lessons and have 70 laptops as well. I would find that the charging of the laptops would be an issue

Happy Birthday @bossman and @sparkeh

Flash IE and video clips Ancient software that is supposed to work with Windows 7 Anyone from any support team in any company who says "We've never seen that before" when presented with a problem

mrwITch and I were sad when some of our favourite shows ended - The Last Ship, Dark Matter, Stranger Things, etc But we are happy now that The Walking Dead, Z Nation, Westworld, Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow and The Librarians have returned.

Never mind schools - I WANT ONE

I have a lot of Fujitsu laptops and I have been impressed with the build quality and ease of use. I would happily buy more. On the very odd occasion I have had to ring re a fault - support was quick and easy. My previous school had Fujitsu desktops in the IT suite and again, no issues with them at all.

Why not try doing one to see if it makes any difference? I know I didn't have to do anything with a certificate! -

Check the computers time clock for innacuracies. Update Chrome, or better still uninstall and reinstall. That's what I did and it fixed the error for me -

I'm told that sticking "window film" on the glass might help.
