Can anybody see their CHromebook Licences in the Admin Panel?
Jaan replied to Jaan's topic in Cloud Services
Awesome thanks! -
Either Google have moved it, I'm going mad or i have an issue. I just want to check how many licences we have remaining on our domain....... it doesn't seem to be where i was expecting it to be. I checked on the Google support page, it says its somewhere else: https://support.google.com/chrome/a/answer/7613772?hl=en Never used that method before and its not there either LOL. Anybody having this issue?

We have a team of 3 experienced IT Support staff members in our team. We don't really have a 1st line role at the moment, our most "junior" Tech Member is experienced enough to do duties that 2nd line or in some cases the NM would perform. You know just incase one of the team members get "hit by a bus", we have some contingency. That being said, our junior member will be leaving us soon and of course be replaced. What AD permissions do you give your 1st Line access to? Cheers

Students Turning Monitors off and preventing full shutdown
Jaan replied to supportman's topic in How do you do....it?
Yeah, students can only shutdown from the login screen here. Too many clicks for them so they don't bother once logged out........ monitor thing can be an issue for us here also. -

Update to this..... checked this morning and its done! Can't believe it took so long!! It took 16 hours! i had to press the green emergency exit buttons on the end of line doors as they stopped working. The midline doors were accessible until it was their turn to get firewire updates. once the firmware was updated (multiple times), these doors would comeback online. The end of lines weren't accessible until all the doors had looped what seemed to be 100s of times and all the firmware updates had completed. All checked first thing today and all doors are back online.

Hi all, Just updated the paxton server from 6.0.5 to 6.6 (i think it was). i wasn't aware it would update the acu firmware also. at about 2:30pm the whole site started doing acu firmware updates. All doors have green ticks in the console, but all of them are "updating firmware". I left it to it thinking it will be fine once they have all updated....... no point in watching a progress bar....... Just remoted in now, everything is still updating....... the doors are still going through steps of updating, seems to complete, then seems to starting updating firmware again!? So for about 9 hrs it's been doing this, i assume it's just looping and can't be right. Any ideas what might be causing this?
