  1. Sorry @ICTDirect_Dave, thought I better get this done before the XMas break
  2. it's not just the ZD you need to check is supported by the firmware updates, but also that your AP's are still covered. When I updated our ZD1300 from 9.6 to 9.8 I had to do it in 2 steps.
  3. *keeps eyes open for strange packages arriving*
  4. His boss should get it for letting him have the time to apply his skills (Just kidding)
  5. If I'd known I'd be in the credits, I'd have made you into Londo
  6. Rules were subject to change due to time travel
  7. I plead the 5th
  8. In school, you can use VLC
  9. Yep a simple form to complete with your new reseller. Did it in our 2nd year.
  10. The reason we moved from MD to O365 was the yearly cost to keep it up to date and secure. Office 365 (or gmail) at least has no cost implications. If you have a OVS licence agreement, you should get the A1 Plus licences to take advantage of the C2R Office installs so you get more easy intergration with Office clients and 365 Sharepoint/Onedrive via the SSO. The GDPR rules, and encryption options is also something that is worth thinking about.
  11. Well another option, that's not as reliable, is to create a new OWA Mailbox Policy via Powershell, then edit it with the following command Set-OwaMailboxPolicy -GroupCreationEnabled $false and apply it to your users You can edit the default OWAMailbox Policy, but groups are handy. You could always go into the admin panel go to Settings -> Services and Addins -> Office 365 Groups, and turn off "Let group owners add people outside the organization to groups" It won't stop them from creating a group, but will limit it to internal only
  12. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/admin/create-groups/manage-creation-of-groups?view=o365-worldwide is a good resource. TBH, a lot of this would have been better investigated before you put the system live.
  13. https://support.office.com/en-us/article/using-contacts-people-in-outlook-on-the-web-1e3438c7-26b2-420c-87de-3cea9d31b5cb
  14. You don't need a google account for the policies to be applied. We've been running Chrome with ADMX files for several years now with no issues. In fact students are *unable* to sign into Google as we have that disabled via gpo
  15. Nope they can't find unlimited boobs as the web filter still catches it, as the certificate is machine level not browser.
  16. Well with Edge moving over to Chromium as well it's not that much of an issue. We deploy Chrome via SCCM and it auto-updates as and when it decides. RM SSL certificate is deployed via GPO exactly the same way as normal for IE and works fine. There is group policy admx files available to lock down Chrome
  17. So you mean on OWA not Outlook. Even using Anti-spam would not stop malicious code in the background when it calls an image to display though. Unless something has changed recently, there is not a global setting to always download images/pictures for every message. You will need to manage this at the message level or add the message sender to your safe sender's list at a user level
  18. a) why would you want all pictures to be downloaded in Outlook as it's a preventative measure b) Group Policy can turn it on.
  19. Any of your office admin staff should be able to help you with this, as they should be used to running the reports.
  20. Pro - Free, always being updated, lots of other features like SharePoint/OneDrive, Stream etc Con - If there is a major issue, you have to wait for MS to resolve, but so far in 6 years since migrating from MD we've not had an outage.
  21. It's all the other virtual services that run over the O2 infrastructure as well, such as Giffgaff.
  22. Do you always use it in the same location? If so how about a bright green blackout roller blind as an alternative (such as https://www.dunelm.com/product/bright-green-thermal-blackout-cordless-roller-blind-1000092788)
  23. well there goes my assistant for the rest of the afternoon.....
  24. Not the One Had to keep the theme going. Think I've got a good quality group shot in my collection at home, so you never know who might turn into Kosh!
  25. You asked for this @ICTDirect_Dave
