  1. I think the free ones come with 3 year cloud licences, lose cloud management after that time I believe so be careful on getting too dependant on them as meraki is not cheap. Sent from my MotoG3 using EduGeek mobile app
  2. If their computer has Bluetooth, office 2013 and their phone is android you could use Office Remote: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.office.officeremote It works for Word and Excel too. A remote desktop solution sounds good though to get the most out of this. Although if they want students to work on the board remotely too (might not want to hand over a teacher phone/tablet) to show their workings or something we got one of these which work really well... http://www.argos.co.uk/product/3684739
  3. You could simplify your reporting by setting up another database set aside from your MIS data (maybe on another server even) then run am sal task to extract the data you need. That's the techie part but you'll be left with just the data you need in more of a database structure that's relevant to your project. Also no changes to the MIS system's database to keep that happy. The powerbi connector route sounds interesting too though, haven't played with that yet.
  4. If you're just worried about sound get one of these. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01HQ3MIHQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_yV00zbT4R0MYJ They're incredible. They record the stage + audience simultaneously to SD or direct to camera. I use it for recording lessons, training, meetings and performances. Sent from my MotoG3 using EduGeek mobile app
  5. Get yourself a good free coding environment. Sublime or Notepad++ and take a look at w3schools website.
  6. Use ISSUU, otherwise you're going to have problems with browser/device compatibilities.

    Deleting Files

If you're talking stuck files that you can't delete, try reducing the file path size by with renaming folder names or mapping a share to the file's folder and deleting the file through the share rather than on the server. Or... by browsing to the file using the file explorer built into 7zip and try to delete the file through 7zip. Sometimes works... oddly.
  8. This one is amazing with a little tweaking of the scripts... https://community.spiceworks.com/scripts/show/2174-get-report-of-multiple-servers-hdd-space-ram-usage We schedule it to run every Tuesday and email our monitoring inbox. All you need to do is look for the red cells on the resulting table, each row being an individual server HDD.
  9. We have a Meru Controller MC1500 (software: 3.6.1-41) with AP320 access points and our iPhone/iPad users were suffering from password incorrect errors after about iOS9 even though the password was fine. We are using WPA2-PSK for the security. Do this when the wireless is not required! To fix... log into the controller's web interface and under 'Configuration' > Devices > APs go into the first AP. Click the 'Wireless Interface' tab. Go into each interface and change Virtual Cell dropdown to 'Off'. Do this for both interfaces on the AP. Now repeat for each AP and each of the APs' interfaces. Then under 'Configuration' > Wireless > ESS go into your wireless profile and set 'Enable Virtual Cell' to OFF (BE CAREFUL AS THIS REMOVED ALL THE APs FROM MY PROFILE!) If the APs are removed from your SSID you can add them in one by one... Under 'Configuration' > Wireless > ESS, choose the ESS-AP Table tab and click the Add button at the bottom of the table and add in each AP ID. You may need to do this a couple of times for each AP if each of your APs has more than one interface index. For our APs we have 2 interfaces so I had to add AP ID 1 twice for interface index 1 and 2. Save the configuration!
