  1. Agreed, another Moderately Nefarious here :S
  2. Hmm I did read in the notes about potential problems with authenticating proxies. Running El Capitan here and its syncing ok.
  3. Idiot - Had app security on Store and identified developers, have to switch to allowing all apps
  4. Windows version seems to work quite well. Selective sync is a good addition. Oh and to save some heartache, the preview doesn't work on 8.1 yet (or vista!) - its 7, 8 and 10 compatible.
  5. Anyone tried this on a Mac yet? Just tells me that the app is damaged and can't open :/
  6. Appears to be working now

  8. Argh! I set aside some time to play with this and I get the same *grump*
  9. I understand the point, but not wishing to labour the point or derail the thread, its comparing two different things. Saying 'If Outlook is causing you problems move to GAFE' doesn't make sense. Saying 'If Outlook is causing you problems move to using your provider's web interface' does make sense.
  10. You are not comparing the same things there. I assume you are referring to accessing your GAFE mail via web browser. If you used Outlook to access your GAFE mail then you would have the problem.
  11. Welcome @Duke5A Hope that's not a euphemism :S
  12. I stand corrected. So what services do you have to be on network for and what can you get off network?
  13. Of course if you leave emPSN then you can't use their services, and as far as I know you can't buy into services without taking connectivity from them... can you?
  14. Yes Not that we've noticed.
  15. Exhibitors will always want to scan your badge. Some people like to create two passes, one for giving out generally for stuff you aren't really interested in and one for those you don't mind contacting you post show
  16. Signed up recently and it was included. Seemed to be making a big thing of it actually.
  17. I would have a fairly nice view of trees, however my room used to be a toilet so has frosted glass, installed the wrong way so people can see in but I can't see out. There's a metaphor in that.
  18. Yep common issue. You need to exclude DA DNS records from scavenging. Annoyingly it doesn't do this when creating the records.
  19. Sorry I was just picking up on a previous comment, I am unsure from above if you have multiple DNS servers but if you do then they should be replicating with it being set as AD-Integrated. Following on from your previous question, yes I would create a reverse lookup zone. Here is a good guide: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc725670(v=ws.10).aspx Choose to make a Primary Zone, and store in Active Directory. Let us know if you need more guidance on that.
  20. Under 'Forward lookup zones' right click a zone and click 'Properties'. On the 'General' tab it will tell the type of zone.
  21. Just wanted to pick up on this. If you are running AD-integrated DNS you do not need to enable zone transfers, all info will be replicated across all your DNS servers by default. AD Integrated do not require Zone transfers | Ace Fekay
  22. That's a fair point. I think that seeing anything with that name on after everything that went on wouldn't look great, its too tarnished now even if it was taken over by someone else and run legitimately and all above board. Although I don't think that anything has actually changed in that regard anyway. We just shelled out for a Twinkl subscription which is well worth the money
  23. Then he'll probably need extra!
  24. Yikes. We are literally on the verge of switching from GAFE to 365 and I can't log in to give our setup a final checkover :S So, for long term 365 users, is this an exceptional event?
  25. ^This guys been to Uni
