  1. A clean install always fixes things like this. The system was probably already messed up before you upgraded.
  2. Path rule works only for the executable specified in that path.
  3. That unfortunately doesn't work for Office 365 sign-ins.
  4. It works well once the users register their phone numbers or alternate email, but getting users to actually register is the tricky part, as users are not automatically redirected to the page when they sign in Office 365 for the first time.
  5. http://www.edugeek.net/forums/enterprise-software/158540-office-365-changed-e-mail-settings-2.html#post1380496 See @sonofsanta reply in the above thread. Just change the parameters of Get-Mailbox cmdlet to retrieve the users you want to modify this setting. ========================= Sorry I misunderstood your post... I think this can be done using transport rules?
  6. Thanks Arthur, that will also do the job. Had never been used to downloading updates directly from MS Support sites.
  7. Thanks for your reply. But what I meant to ask was where Microsoft AutoUpdate stores the downloaded packages? Do I just update one of my clients and copy those .app files from Application folder?
  8. For Excel you have to use the web app for same time coauthoring, unfortunately.
  9. It's caused by the recent flash player 19 ActiveX plugin update. Roll back to 18 and you'll be good to go.
  10. You might also consider hiding some address book from the students: Alumni Address Book Policy in Office 365 Education - Microsoft Education in the Cloud - Site Home - TechNet Blogs
  11. As long as the file is shared on OneDrive/Sharepoint it can be opened and editted by multiple people at the same time, this is not a new feature of Office 2016. Oddly though Excel doesn't support this same time coauthoring. The new real-time coauthoring feature in Word 2016 only means users no longer need to hit save to see what others changed.
  12. The guide on TechNet says updates of Office 2016 for Mac are provided as individual app bundles but where are we supposed to download these to our local network for distributing? The updates are all huge and I don't want the users to fecth them directly from Microsoft. And does it mean that the updates are cumulative and I can skip older ones and only install the latest for each app? Thanks.
  13. Me neither. Is the availability based on country or region? I contacted the vlsc guys but they knew nothing about a release date.
  14. Senior school with 500 kids, 80+ regular staff plus 15 or so remote users, 150 desktops, 50 laptops, 3 servers and one me. The school started with poor IT infrastructure and poor management, otherwise I believe I could support more. - - - Updated - - - Senior school with 500 kids, 80+ regular staff plus 15 or so remote users, 150 desktops, 50 laptops, 3 servers and one me. 15. 3 days after the firmware update now and our printers are working fine! I love this forum, will continue to lurk around.
  16. Hi guys, just registered to ask if anyone still has the beta firmware that will fix the offline problem? All our 6 new P2055dn suffered from this and it was driving me mad...
