Cheers for this, Thom! My Dad is really into genealogy so I'll be sure to take a good look at this when I get home!
  4. Get Sky+ (or some other form of PVR). I've had it for 4 years and wouldn't be without it. It's VERY rarely I watch anything at the original broadcast time these days. And "Series Link" rocks...
  5. Highlights on ITV at 11:45 tonight. You missed a great race. Lots of carnage. Lots of changes. Lots of excitement. The world championship is a lot closer now....
  6. PEBKAC error... Delete the other ones.

  9. It's my understanding that the Aug SIMS requires .net 2, however Capita's tool will also install 3.
  10. It's something to do with xbap http://www.xbap.org/faq.html And it requires .Net framework 3 I'm curious now... will take a look when I get home...
  11. nah, it's a Kiwi beer that none of you will have heard of.
  12. Last night I got thinking about how I thought that most modern ads are rubbish, and that the ones I remembered from my youth seemed MUCH better. So I went on a nostalgia trip to youtube to find some oldies. Here's one of my all-time favourites (which coincidentally happens to be for my favourite beer)... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=nOcTfbHDvl0

  14. A typical NZ 21st usually involves a big party with family & friends (usually a BBQ if it's not winter) and a "yard glass" of beer (not sure if you have them over here - although I'm not sure I could manage a yard of English Ale, being warm and flat as you all seem to like it...... ick)

  16. yeah but Monaros are only 2 door. If I'm spending that much it's gonna have to last. i.e be practical for future family... Here's one of my OLD Commodores. Only a baby (3.8l V6) 1989 VN Formula. It passed everything except petrol stations! http://www.kearton.com/ol6218.jpg

  18. What are they saving. e.g A SWF file?
  19. Thanks Dos_Box! I've learnt something useful today
  20. Just noticed. Gumbledook and I are *both* guilty of lack of clarity. Callum used 'your' twice in his original post. I was referring to the former, and it's obvious now that GD was referring to the latter. NORMAL TRANSMISSION RESUMED....
  21. Apologies for going off-topic in your thread, Robunta!
  22. thank you
  23. Excuse me? 'Your' something means it belongs to you. "If your looking for some police..." is NOT correct. "If you are looking for some police..." is correct, and and IS the case in his sentence.
  24. you're sorry... pet peeve...
