  1. How much are you looking at each?
  2. Last week of term. I'm thinking all the schools in swgfl area are going to hammer there connections. Been fine here today. Although I've been doing light admin work today
  3. Same here. mines been fine now. Not had any problems yet since they sent me the newer router
  4. Just keep an eye. What firmware you now running?
  5. We been getting this for the last few weeks with the pupils. The pupils are still using proxy.swgfl.org.uk but the certificate is installed in the computer. I'm using sslfilter . staffproxy.swgfl.org.uk and it's been useless at the best of times. Other feeds have been fine. I did have the problem with Firefox today. Couldn't get it to connect to any https sites. I checked my certificate and I had a rm one that was out of date :/ Deleted it and it was fine. I'm suspised that no one from swgfl or rm haven't commented yet.
  6. It sounds like your using a wrong formatted hard drive. I'm guessing its seeing the hard drive ok. I'm just looking up on how to format your hard drive by using the cmd within setup. (Shift + F10) I had this on a windows 7 box. But i was using my old hard drive to install. (had server 2012r2 on it and wount let windows 7 install) After reboot and try installing again.
  7. I still have the pupils on proxy feed (non SSL Filter) and we are having problems. We get random computers that don't like going on the internet. Next minute there fine.
  8. I not had any problems with the sky hub or the sagemcom router. (I tricked the old sagemcom router to connect to the broadband to rule out any problems. The old talktalk router kept dropping connections and just unreliable. Got talktalk to swap me to the 3780) Start a post on talktalk forums and your get help from talktalk people (not people from telephone support)
  9. Talktalk. It's full of there crap. Or just buy a decent router.
  10. I'm in the same boat. We have a full rack of kit I gotta move each time. I don't mind the mixer rack as that's on wheels. It's moving the active speakers. Then it's setting it up. Power to the main mixer then long kettle leads to the speakers. So I wanna look at a set of passive speakers and stands.(I think there's a spare amp. In the rack)
  11. Server room: Blowing 18. Servers sitting at 19/20 Office: Air con at 18 IT Rooms: Aircon at 20. (kids moan at it being lower) Other rooms round the school: Too hot. No air movement in the main school.

  13. I'm on: Firmware Version : v1.12t Hardware version : B1 I think there a newer one than that.
  14. We had same problems with the 2 port D link router. i started an online topic with them. (there phone customer service is s**t,) I asked to be sent a replacement router which has to be the 4 ports due to having more cable devices than wireless. Might we worth asking for the latest firmware to be sent to the box.

  20. I just done this with a IBM T43 keyboard. Silly money on amazon and other places. Ebay was £14. Spoke to finance department and they are alright with it,
  21. Check you lan settings. Make sure you have a default gateway on both interfaces. I have a backup broadband line which i run like this DSL router > PfSense box > School network IT Vlan. (only staff on IT Vlan can access the backup line) only access if you type the ipaddress of the pfsense in the proxy area of IE, (running on pfsense though squid)
  22. Just had a phone call from our SEN Deparment saying that key have fallen off the laptops? (more like picked off im guessing) Anyone have ideas on where i can get a keyboard from? Not having much luck with amazon searches atm.
  23. We are looking at sticking a TV in our reception with a computer attached. I have been playing with Xibo but seems a little over computed for the average user. Other than powerpoint is there any easy to use software that can do what we want?
  24. F@ST2504n I think i have got it. I've managed to get the sky router to connect to the internet.
