I had to use windows 8 drivers for WOL to work.

Bit of bump. Just brought one to play with. HP PageWide Pro 452DW. Ink is same as a Brother HL-L8250 costs but get more to a cart. Brother was 4000 black and 3500 CMY. HP XL 10000 black and 7000 CMY. For the same price. It's quicker. Better looking. I like it.

I got 7 computers reimaging and on 4 i'm uninstalling CS... We Will see

Ok. Rebooted the other day and still got problems... Could it be Classic shell related?

I've not had any problems with these boards and we got over 80 of them. We do have fast startup disabled though group policy.

Just been looking at buying toners for a Brother HL-4140 and HL-L8250 and almost fainted at the cost of the toners. (They gone up in the last few months...) Just wondered what is the best low running cost colour laser printer (without getting a rental)

We may be looking at upgrading our fiber runs to handle 10GB. (Our server switch has 2 SFP+ ports and some servers are trucked) I know any new runs are 50/125 Mutimode) We are mostly 3com and HP switches in each rack (POE switches are netgear as they was supplied with our wireless system about 10 years ago) Just wondering what 10GB switches do you use?

Ok. Been thinking and had a quick look. There is 4x 63a power thingys. They are connected to the dimmer packs. Yes there are patch board. Would have to get electricians in to put a few sockets in by the patch boards. Had a quick look online and looking at £100 per unit.

Just noticed that a driver is missing for a SAS device. Bloody Server 2016.

All clients are SSD. 1gb backbone. 2x1gb plugged in to server via server switch. Nothing standing out in the Logs. I will reboot the file server after hours.

So... I've been tasked to look in to upgrading our drama studio lighting. Where would we start? We have 4 dimmer packs that do the lights. (Parcans and profiles) All plugs are round pins. and sockets out on the rig. (All go back to the dimmer packs) Not sure where to start. And I'm not sure on budget (not enough to get a outside company in to quote for the work). Must be simple enough for pupils to use.

Got an odd login problems with some of our computers. When pupils login there taking ages on "preping windows" CTRL+ALT+DEL and escape it off it clears off but leaves the desktop and start menu (Classic Shell) frozen. Have to log off and sign back in. Any ideas? (The pupils start menu and desktop are redirected to our file server)

Graphics card with 2 hdmi out.

The limit on USB is 5meters. You might have to look at a active cables. I'm sure it would just pick the screens up as 2 input devices. Try not to use hdmi splitters. Had problems with running the E70 and monitor over USB. (Might of been the cheapness of the splitter)

Staff back tomorrow so it will be last min requests. Trying to get 2 smart E70 working (see my other topic) Need to update 32 iPads. Nothing major left to do now. (Famous last words)

Haha no this was about 2/3 months ago. All good now though.

Thank you al. Install was nice and simple. Took 5 mins including a reboot. Clients started updating with out hassle. Managed to install the console on my machine now. (Had problems installing since we had ransomeware) Not had chance to test or play but will do next week.
