    Never make it to the OS. But it install office updates fine.

    Odd request but hopefully will help me. Could somone give me there working copy of this file please : C:\Program Files\Update Services\WebServices\ClientWebService\Web.config I'm sure there something wrong with this and i cant spot the mistake. Thank you again.

    Mostly i3's (even some 7th Gen Pentiums). All IT rooms are SSD's Speak to Stone, Very-PC and even ICT Direct for some great refurbs.

    Anyone. Kind of at a lost end. Ive built a 2012 R2 server and still nothing. Anything. I'm sure its WSUS related.

    Nope. Our AV has set that key (as fair as i know) I havent pushed the Jan 18 update down to V1703. Just all the others...

    Anyone. Just noticed it also now happening on V1703. Downloads and install office updates but not OS :/

    Got an odd one here (Not 100% related to my other topic but still link but a different problem) Updated a few machines to V1709. Windows update will show and install updates for Office 2013 but not any Windows OS updates. Simple fix? Log attached if needed. Windowsupdatelog 0948 080118.txt

    Will have to wait till i upgrade some computers. (2nd gen i3 dosent support AES-NI) I got some 4th gen i3 but will have to wait till around Easter to swap them out.

    I use an old Dell Tower (by old P4 and 1GB DDR2 (yep later P4) and it works fine on our work backup feed. Fitted an extra nic and away it goes.

    Just looking in to the update agent now.

    I’ll have a look. Worth a try. Just seems odd that it won’t find Windows 10 on a workstation. But will find and download office updates.

    Updated to V1709 and i dont get any error messages when searching for updates. (i've approved the latest update due to the CPU fix) Not coming back with any updates. (older machines are picking up office updates but not OS updates)

    Try running Sims as administrator? (right click run as administrator)

    Just updated a machine to Oct CU and still errors out. :/

    I just one of the V1703 that is giving me this error is on: 15063.502

    On a 1703 machine it has downloaded updates from wsus (i think) for Office 2013 but none for windows 10 it self.

    That would be why if I change that to 0 it goes off to look for updates and downloads from MS Got to be setting somewhere is wsus or gp that’s making error out on wsus Mix of 1703 and 1709 Although one of the 1709 machines have blocked me from going in to settings :s
