Had one of these for awhile now and saw a 1mb increase almost straight away (Well on a good day), but for sure I saw an improvement and for a tenner can't complain!

So do I, have done this in 3 or 4 schools now and all seems to work okay.

Where do I get this from?!

Trying to update flash player on about 6 computers (different makes and models of computers) all however have IE7 on! Go to the main adobe site and in all cases it says that my platform is not supported! All have XP Pro on (but different service packs). This is really annoying me, as I have had this problem before and you go to the adobe support and I can't find anything about it!!! Anybody seen this ? Regards Paul

I guess all the APs are the same are they? Is it possible that the APs its not seeing are all the same brand / type?

Wot make of laptop is it? I suspect it's a Toshiba, as I have seen this before. Change the display to projector only and it should work. If not (having seen it more then once!) check the screen res, I have had one where the laptop was wide screen and the projector didn't like it at all, would show the 'normal' images, but not any video clips. Hope that helps Paul

Only problem I have found with them is that you can't laminate anything that you have printed off from it. So if you are going to replace and use it as your main printer just bear this in mind. Paul

I have had very simlar issues with Real Player and have found that you have to install it and then run the registraion process from your 'administrator' account, have you tried this? Paul

Thanks to Kmount & Sysman MK, they put me on the right track and I have got this working with 2 bat files (not vbs as perhaps suggested). In the end I just copied and pasted from the following site Configure TCP/IP from the Command Prompt Which worked a treat and I even have a bat file that will clear the 'static address' and take me back to DHCP (including DNS) Paul
