Hi, I am having problems with installing the classroombookings open source program. I have installed MySQL 5.7 and have PHP 7.0 installed. I have created the site within IIS and the database in MySQL. I get the install page where i can enter the school name etc but then when i click on 'Install' i get loads of PHP errors shown below; A PHP Error was encountered Severity: Warning Message: mysqli_next_result() expects parameter 1 to be mysqli, boolean given Filename: mysqli/mysqli_driver.php Line Number: 105 and Severity: Warning Message: mysqli_real_escape_string() expects parameter 1 to be mysqli, boolean given Filename: mysqli/mysqli_driver.php Line Number: 234 At the bottom there is a login prompt but does not work. If i try with the details it come up with the following; A PHP Error was encountered Severity: Notice Message: Trying to get property of non-object Filename: controllers/login.php Line Number: 23 Any help would be great! Thanks. How do i make it so that the Shortcut will only display if the software is installed. I have the situation where if i have some french software only installed on the french classrooms i do not want the icon displaying in the english rooms as it would just come up as a missing shorcut. Hi, I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction with something i cant work out. I am trying to create a program set list that gets shown in the 'All Programs' menu when users log on. I need each subject to have its own area on the list that will house the relevant software shortcuts. I also need different user types so see different menus e.g. staff to have one that only they can see for things like SIMS etc. In addition to this, not all software will be installed on all machines around site so i don't want shortcuts to be visable if the software itself is not installed on that particular machine. I am sure you can do this with GPO's but just need a pointer as to where to start. Hi, I am trying to remove the Faourites, Libraries and Network icons from the left hand panel in file explorer. I am using windows Server 2012 and Windows 7 on the domain pc's. What i have gone through so far is as follows: I have added the new registry item into both user configuration > windows settings as well as Computer configuration > windows settings two which either or both dont seem to change the registry settings at all. I have tried using the 'Update' values as well as 'Replace'. I have also added the registry key within computer configuration > policies > windows settings > security settings > registry which gives 'authenticated users' full access to the folder containing the specific registry. I know that i have the correct thing to change and also the corret value the file needs to be because if i do it manually through regedit it works fine. If anyone knows what i am missing/doing wrong or knows a better way of hiding the icons then please do let me know. The below show the registry files that i am changing. Hello all, I was wondering if anyone would be able to share their current group policys for their Staff, Student and workstations? I am currently looking to start rebuilding new GPO's on a brand new domain using Windows Server 2012 and was hoping that somone would be kind enough to share what they have to use as a template? Hi, I am looking into changing some of the options slightly when using the booking system, in particular the drop down list when choosing the year you want. Is it possible to change what appears in the drop down lists? I cant seem to find where this information is. Currently i have options from year 7 through to A-Level. Hi, I am trying to use HAP+ on a RM cc3 network and did have it working but then unfortunately lost a lot of my GPO's on all three of my domain controllers and now have an issue. It seems that unless the user that I am using has some sort of management right I cant log in. If the user has management rights set to 'none' in management console it will not allow a log in. If the management right is set to any of the other privileges, 'Delegate' 'Authorise' 'Network ''Domain Admin', it will log in fine.
