Many thanks to the OP! Although none of the suggestions in his post worked for my Hero, I managed to find ProxyDroid in the market, which enabled me to use our WiFi here at work. Push mail, internet, 95% of widgets (one of two wont auto update), market updates and purchases ALL work and download through our proxy. I've only used about 6meg of data this week since I found ProxyDroid! (HTC Hero running Cronos Ginger 2.2.4)

The HD7 is Windows mobile 7, not Android. Probably the best two phones out at the moment are the Samsung Galaxy S2, or the HTC Sensation. Both Android, both brand new this month.

Have you found anything you can't do on the Nc10 Si? I'm obivously not expecting to be able to render a 3d film intro or anything like that, but have you stumbled across anything in typical day to day use? Would you recommend them for pupil (Y7-11) use?

Snickers workwear is amazing - lasts for years. My brother recommended it to me and he's a carpet fitter so needs the toughest. I've had two pairs of thier trousers - no wear after 3+ years of crawling under desks. I also wear them to do the garden, go fishing in, and they still look good! We WERE required to wear smart shirt, trousers and a tie, but we soon knocked than on the head! Even a four quid shirt from Asda is a waste when it's covered in toner Now we wear a black polo with the school logo on, Snickers work trousers, black trainers. No ID badges whatsoever though. No staff do here.
