  1. Its not the best idea this. All that will happen is there will be less jobs available as companies get free labour. Would you work 30 hours a week for £60? Companies will realise they can get people to work for free, so there will be less and less real jobs available. It is a slippery slope this, but not many people can see it from my point of view...
  2. Loads of must have apps. HTC desire is one excellent piece of kit. I have been with android since the G1, and it in my opinion is the best mobile operating system. So customisable. Its much more of an edugeek kind of thing than apple I would say. My contract is £30 a month, with £200 worth of credit to use on calls, texts, picture messages etc, and unlimited internet. And you can even use the phone as a wireless router to connect to the internet, so it does away with my 3g dongle.
  3. Thanks Guys!
  4. Hi All, does anyone know of a way to deploy fonts via the network/script or something? Would make a job a lot easier for me if there is a way to do this. Any ideas would be great!
  5. Pyroman, you are on my wavelength. You seen Collapse by Michael Ruppert? Thats a very good watch. Google video search brings it up.
  6. Its nothing to do with the raising the cost of printer cartridges... Its freedom. Look at the anti terror laws they have brought in. The next one I am expecting is the 'cyber terrorism' thing to hit, and knock the banking system out of line. Its all about control... F### em, and F### em some more!
  7. Id just like to say well done to the media for giving the 'terrorists' info as to what was found, and that it wasn't found by all our sophisticated technology, sniffer dogs, or anything else. It was found because of a tip off. They just need to be a little more tight lipped. So, the 'terrorists' now know how far the bombs got before they where found, how they where found, and which ones where found. Who knows how many the 'terrorists' actually sent. They now know how to do a better job next time. They now know they can easily get a bomb either into a british airport, or over british airspace and detonate it. Basically the media have helped the 'terrorists' by giving them the information that they need to do a better job next time. I say 'terrorists' in quotations, because I believe that this was all in some way planned by the authorities. Stay scared everyone!!!
  8. RM Maths...
  9. Going to swap my car for a landrover defender. Im not getting stranded again. The weather is only going to get worse, after all, heat is energy. We are heating up the atmosphere so putting more energy into the weather system. It is all to be expected. Just wait until the gulf stream stops and we run out of oil. We are well and truly screwed!
  10. We had exactly the same problem here, and used drain pipes from B&Q. We have a length of drain pipe and drain pipe brackets running along the back of the desk and all the power supplies are sat in them. Didnt need any gaffer tape or anything. Just sat there. Works amazingly!
  11. I set mine up last night on the desire. Will have to see how well it works. Its a shame that you only get access to the 2g network but its better than nothing. I know when I go on holiday I hardly ever get signal on T-Mobile (especially wales) so im hoping this will help get signal out in the sticks, as my work phone on orange works perfectly pretty much everywhere I go!
  12. Id never get a windows phone. Does not compete in any way with the wonder of my HTC desire and Android. Been with android since the very start when the G1 was first released. All I can say is I love it. It gets better and better and I havent really found any faults or things that I dont like. Plus I am a big user of google services so love all the integration.
  13. And how would my employer know who I am???
  14. Not for taking photos, no. However, wasting police time is something I enjoy, and for me it is worth a night in the cells. I enjoy reading.
  15. Search YOUTUBE for: The Love Police
  16. That is where we differ then Gabbo. I would rather spend a night in the cells than show the police my photos. Its a matter of principal. Then, at the end of the day I will have wasted there time and effort, and be allowed to walk free. Granted my time will also have been wasted, however it would be worth it to me.
  17. The tabloids or any newspaper for that matter I would not touch with a bargepole. They are all lies, rubbish and government agendas. I bet when they asked to see your photos, you showed them didnt you... What the hell does it have to do with them? I am not doing anything illegal, yet it seems I am guilty until proven innocent. If we do not stand out for our rights then our rights will be removed.
  18. What is this gagging of TUPED staff about? We are to be TUPED over to a BSF supplier and I am curious about the gagging of staff. I certainly wont be gagged!
  19. With people like you around, no wonder our freedoms are being eroded so quickly...
  20. I dont care about their legal rights. I do care about by human rights and privacy.
  21. What a predictable comment. No wonder we are ending up with new laws getting passed left right and centre to keep us controlled. The 'if you dont have something to hide argument is a load of crap' Why should I provide any information to the police. Why should they know where I am going, what I am doing, why am I taking photos in a town centre. What the hell does it have to do with the piggies?
  22. So, £2000 for a smartboard, and they cant even get the software to work correctly! Good that!
  23. That is amazing!
  24. I spoke to Smart, they are aware of it, and have released a 'fix' that involves a lot of messing with the registry. This one really wound me up after I deployed it to the whole school without testing, and thus managed to completely mess up the smart notebook installs on all PC's. OOPS!
