Hi We are currently running Sims on Win 2008 64-bit with SQL 2008 virtually on Xenserver, we have 7GB of Ram allocated and 8 cores set. We have a problem that Ram used max's out once a week or so resulting in the server hanging around 9am when when most staff will be logging on to sims. Have done a quick google this morning and saw AWE mentioned. How do you if this is already set? Don't know too much about the inner workings of SQL Thanks

You want to use the iPad Deployment Tool for that many. If its a free app then that's fine, but paid apps is at the decision of the developer. Apple are working on a Education EULA. 1.) Not yet it's in the pipeline I've been told. There is one for the iPod Touch's. 2.) No that isn't required.

[ms office - 2010] Outlook 2010, Exchange 2007 Public folders
karls5 posted a topic in Office Software
Hi We have a problem displaying Home page assigned Public folders in Outlook 2010. We have Exchange 2007. We have a public folder, which we have a home page assigned to a webpage that displays room bookings. It displays fine on Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007, but does not display in Outlook 2010. It just displays a mail pane. When you right click a the Public folder and bring up the Home Page, there is no address assigned and it is greyed out. If you create a new public folder in Outlook 2010 and try to assign a home page the same happens, it is greyed out. Has anyone else had this? Thanks -

Hi Yeah, tried at home works fine. Yeah, we can't stream videos from Youtube either, but we can use iPlayer and TVcatchup. It's just strange that the iPhones and iPod Touches work fine. -
Office 2010 and Sims seem fine together, trialling it on about machines at the mo. However one issue we have is Outlook 2010 doesn't seem to like Public Folders which have Home pages assigned to them, it just won't display them. We have a Public Folder setup with displays a web page to Room bookings assigned to it. We have Exchange 2007. Trying to find a Solution. Anyone else had this? We've tried creating a new one within Outlook 2010 but you get the same issue, on the home page tab the Show Home page is greyed out.

Hi We recently bought 6 iPad's to trial in school, but we have a problem in that, when we go to the App Store on the iPad's, choose an app, press install, it as asks for the Apple ID password, then returns to the home screen, to start the download, but then comes up with the messages, "Cannot connect to iTunes Store, OK" We have tried various Wifi points in the school, different levels on Encryption, but it wont download anything, browsing the Web is fine, receiving mail is fine. The iPad's and App Store work's at home no problem. We can browse and download apps via iTunes on a Macbook fine then Sync them to the iPads. iPhones and iPod Touches seem fine also within school. It is just the iPads the won't download apps. I was just wondering if anyone has had this problem we are on EMBC.
