Maybe @CPLTD can assist as I think they have contacts at Dell who if you provide the service tag as well can advise ref the case etc and double check ref prices etc

If the hardware for the current PC's is quite reasonable ie recent then may just need wiping / re-imaging / latest drivers etc and see if that helps at all, may just be due to being used frequently , profiles on machines ( if you use locally stored profiles / cached etc ) , Windows may have also gotten a bit bloated from all the installations / windows updates etc

Handy - curious though @Domino - do you know of anywhere like that for Lenovo laptops, spares / repairs or parts etc ? Got work laptops ranging from T400 laptops ( 6475-2Y2 / 6475-9Y4 ) , T410 ( 2537-D88 ), T420 ( 4236-CP7 ) and T430 ( 2349-KQ1 ) We always need to get replacement hard drives / screens and sometimes other parts etc

I heard a rumour that Cadbury is bringing out an oriental chocolate bar. Could be a Chinese Wispa. -
If it is still under warranty then may need a support call for an Acer engineer to attend to re program the serial number back onto the PC. I know with Lenovo laptops we have, the serial number has to be programmed back on by the engineer using a floppy disk with there own software to edit / update the bios etc etc Worth a try , if not then they will advise what you need to do to update with the serial number, as I know the Lenovo desktops you have to use winflash / AFUWIN or whatever utility to update the PC with the serial number etc but we aren't allowed to update serial number info on the laptops.

Projectors / light bulbs / any or all computers that are left running over night or over the weekends ?? Prolly a daft thought / idea here but if you had a POE Injector ( would that A) Power the printer or be capable of powering a printer ? B) Can the POE Injector be remotely powered off over the network ?

without knowing make / model of machine ( desktop / laptop ) etc - going to be tough to try and help. Also is there a BIOS update for this machine that can be applied ? Thought they used winphlash / winflash ( however you spell it ) to update the BIOS that or create a bootable CD ? Also what error is it giving / coming up with ?

@VeryPC - The shirt should say something along the lines of : "Get me the box Emma !!!" Should have the very pc logo on the back of the shirt !! Looks like you are trying to say "Bellissimo" with the way you are standing / posed in that photo on the shirt !!
