  1. This is the kind of kit I was looking for, thanks a lot. Due to awful Network Managers (and lazy NM's @Ephelyon), all or most sockets are labelled but incorrectly. Using this kit and about 3 years of my life I will get the whole school wiring perfect!
  2. Is there an easy way (or a hard way) to work out where a network socket runs back to?
  3. Thanks for that, think I might rob this one to try and bribe them to choose PCs over Macs by showing them pricing.
  4. Thanks for that, I suspect that our Art Department have 'Apple Fever'.
  5. The machines are a reasonably good spec, and they have been re-imaged not long ago and profiles are not locally stored. The machines themselves don't run slow, it's the program Photoshop. They are convinced that Photoshop is running slow and crashing. Is there a known problem with Photoshop on Windows? I'm starting to believe that they will come up with any rubbish just to get pretty, shiny new toys.
  6. Our Art Department are looking at getting some Apple Macs to use with Photoshop installed to replace the current Windows 7 machines running Photoshop (due to 'running too slow and crashing'). I'm wondering if there is a way of running a terminal server with Mac OS installed so that our machines can connect to the TS and run Macs version of Photoshop to avoid the cost of the shiny toys.
