Mid-Size/Ranger Speaker Recommendation?
Huegears replied to Gongalong's topic in AV and Multimedia Related
We usually buy our Audio kit from KPMS as they always advise us well. These speakers are good although it depends on the output of your amp. It may be worth giving them a call, good thing too is that they arnt pushy sales people https://www.kpms.co.uk/product/cs-series-wooden-speaker-cabinets-2/ -
We've recently purchased some Casio units from KPMS. They were the cheapest we could find and the projectors arrived the following day

Lightraise best whiteboard please?
Huegears replied to gilessaintsway's topic in AV and Multimedia Related
Hi Giles, Please be careful with this product as to which board you buy. There are only a couple of manufacturers recommended for this product, the simple reason is due to the technicalities of the touch technology built into the projector. If you PM me I can give you more info Kind Regards Phil- 1 reply

Smartboard with UF70 projector removed
Huegears replied to DPrince's topic in AV and Multimedia Related
This can also be done although the power button on the pen tray for your newly installed projector will be redundant. You will need to run a new wiring loom too. PM me if you need further details -
At the moment you can only purchase Smart spars direct from Canada as Smart do not has a distributor set up for spares here in the UK. We purchased some non branded remotes designed for the lightraise so do all the same features as the original and slightly bigger-£39.00

Smartboard with UF70 projector removed
Huegears replied to DPrince's topic in AV and Multimedia Related
The UF70 is Ultra Short Throw so as suggested, the Hitachi model will do this. There is an alternative mount available where by you can leave the existing Smart plate on the wall and you simply purchase a new mount although this isn't a Smart arm but will do the job and is a lot cheaper. -
have you tried these people KPMS. They specialise in the supply of remotes

Yes, i have seen a system working in a Science lab. The students will each need a pair of active glasses which unfortunaltly arnt cheap. You will need a 3D Laptop and 3D ready projector. If you are projecting onto a white surface then passive glasses will not work. If you want more info please contact me

I would reccommend Ebeam everytime. Its small and portable and easy to use, the software is good. All you need then is a projector. I have more info if you need it as Luidia have forwarded it to me.

Ours has just arrived and on first impressions I am sure there will be a lot of interest in this product as it is what shools have been waiting for. By putting your hand up to the unit it switches your projector on, repeat to switch your projector off. If the member of staff leaves their projector on, Viseco will switch it off either 1,2,4 or 8hrs depending on how long you have set the Viseco. I have just spoken to the manufacturer about volume as the price is around £120.00 each and they will do deals. I think it is quite good as new lamps arnt cheap and also spare remotes dont come cheap if they are lost.

The clip on speakers for Smartboards have their own power supply. With regards to getting audio to them you can either connect via usb or rca which is on the speaker. There are blue tooth speakers available although they arnt cheap. i know of a rechargable bluetooth speaker on the market. It has a sender which you plug into your laptop/ mp3 player. The sender then transmits bluetooth up to 30 metres to a circular speaker approx 6" diameter which receives bluetooth and belts out the sound. You can even plug a mic into the receiver for voice rienforcement. I hope this helps Regards Phil

These do have the same throw distance so you will be ok. The only slight differenc is if it is going in a custom cradle. Any further help ping me an email.
