Exactly this. I have been using a Lowe Alpine Edge II 18 daily for the past year or so to carry my work stuff and camera. It holds my thin 14" laptop in the bladder pocket no problem. Before I got the smaller Lowe bag I used a Swiss Wenger bag similar to this one I used it every day for work to cart around a big chunky 15" laptop, assorted cables and tool for 4 and a half years. Bag still gets used when I'm away overnight with work and still looks nearly new. Which for me is close to a miracle! Most of my bags definitely have the "distressed" look going on. Both are very comfortable to be wearing all day while travling too which is good.

I always make a point of opening boxes and checking the goods over within 2 weeks of them being delivered. It also means I can store them in a smaller space because I will remove all the bulky packaging while checking them. Anything hardware fault wise (dead screen/motherboard/psu) that is dead on arrival I've never had a problem putting a claim in months afterward. However checking for physical damage is something that is quick to do, and easy to sort out with suppliers when you report it quick enough.

I use these Dell ones through work (we got them free...) 16GB DELL USB 100 Series-Blue : Dell Memory | Dell UK Mine is attached to my ID cards (which are constantly in and out of my back pocket). It's been through the wash many times, I accidentally drove over it, got it stuck in the runner of my car seat and been dropped countless times. Still works with no issues. The all metal Kingston ones might be less prone to the plastic snapping. But mine still looks relatively new!

Can you ask her friends/mum what brand of them she wants then? I had a set many years ago, they were rubbish for me. My hair was too thick. Normal straighteners all the way.

Does anyone have/know of a way to insert a folder into every users Onedrive so that on the users first log in to onedrive, there is already a folder there to sync? We are currently moving to a Work folders/One Drive hybrid instead of using home drives and offline files. During testing this is working the way we wish, however it would be much smoother if by default there was a "Work" folder already in their OneDrive, rather than talking them through how to create a folder, and then set One Drive to only sync that folder. - We do not want them sync'ing their whole One Drive down to their work pc's.

I claimed for an accident (my fault) and there was no issue. Insurance company couldn't have dealt with it better in my eyes. In all my years of driving, and talking to other drivers. Insurance companies don't pay out due to people lying on their policy. Be honest with them and they have no reason not to pay out. Unless of course it is a dodgy insurance company to begin with. In which case, it is a simple case of doing your homework before paying them.

I'm struggling to think why they wouldn't pay out solely on having a parent as a named driver. It certainly was not a problem when I claimed, and was never a problem adding him on.

Third Party Fire and Theft (TPFF) policies do certainly still exist. However if there is finance on the car they normally state it must be insured fully comp. When I got my first car, I was down as the main driver, but added my dad on as a named driver. Took a third off the total cost.

Absolutely loved the cities episode. Turtles was heart breaking :-( Monkeys amusing, leopards an eye opener and the hyenas simply jaw dropping. Hand feeding any large, wild predator would make your heart race. However a large pack of incredibly powerful hyenas, being as placid as most dogs was simply amazing to see.

I've just started playing this for the first time. Last time I played a city sim it was Sin City 2000 when I was a kit! Rather enjoying Cities Skylines. I first tried to create a normal city, but found myself running out of money quickly and have no idea what was needed and when. So I've started building a new city with unlimited money to try and get my head around it all :-)

Many of the houses around me are now fitting solar LED's to the overhang around their houses to combat that now. It started off with one house about a year ago, now there is around 20 of them!

My brother has a Huawei Honor (cant remember the number, he's had it for around 2 years). He loves it, lovely big screen, decent batter and amazing camera.

Glad to see these are finally working their way around the country. The street at my mums house got them about 15 years ago! Places I've stayed in since have at a mix of these and the old style ones. From talking to council folk, it seems on "big roads" they adjust the output to be stronger than in cul-de-sacs and quiet residential streets. This was to reduce street lights shining in peoples windows. I much prefer them, much easier on my eyes when walking and driving :-)

I'm another aeropress user. The ease of cleaning is what I love about it most. :-) Tend to buy my coffee from lidl, they do ace coffee for cheap.

After seeing these excellent looking spider webs this morning on my way into work, I went for a little walk during my lunch break. I was then greeted by this idiot on my return And watched another fantastic sunset from my office window... Today has been a good day :-)

Loved the eagle footage on this episode. Was fantastic to see them so close. One thing I have noticed in this series is how the animals don't seem to care about the camera being there. It is either well edited or the new cameras are much less intrusive than before. Dancing bears was ace! On a geeky level, I'd really like to know what cameras they are using for the different locations.

This is one thing I have watched that has made me want a 4k TV. Absolutely stunning filming work. I really want to know how they got swimming with sloths and iguanas !

Oh we are talking lenses! Yay! I bought a Panasonic GX7 last year, which came with the 12-32mm and 35-100mm standard zoom lenses. I've really enjoyed using them but feeling the itch to get some new lenses. I am thinking of trading in my 35-100mm for a 45-200mm Panasonic lens as when I'm out walking, I frequently see wildlife I want to take a picture of, but can't get close enough too. Also hoping this would be a decent enough lens for more trace side photos at Knockhill? I'd also really like one of the fast primes such at the Panasonic 25mm F1.7, which comes up in my price range frequently. So I can see me getting one of them some time in the new year. On the other side however, I am enjoying trying to take macro photos, and love pictures I have seen taken with the 60mm Olympus Macro lens. However it is a bit out of my price range (and doesn't seem to come up often second hand). I absolutely hate the trend most companies seem to be going on of putting grey text on white backgrounds. I hate it. Some greys are easier to read, but all give me eye strain after a while.overlay

Marks like those always remind me of the thieves marks in The Elder scrolls series. Always look to see if a building is worth breaking into before hand.
