I don't think that is terribly accurate. I got a high CP Squirtle from a 10km egg and a a few Paras and Bellsprouts from 2km eggs.

I've ran out cause there is only one pokestop near where I work, and none near home. But loads of pokemon at my work! I'll need to go out tonight purely for pokestops I think.

I've ran out of pokeballs :-/ Also, I now have enough candy to evolve an eevee, not sure I want to though!

Google rewards is definitely worth installing. Surveys take 1-3 min usually, sometimes the odd 10 min survey will come through. I've made quite a bit off it over the years :-

The footsteps are very erratic I find. Sometimes they work perfectly (When I was tracking down the Porygon it was perfect) Other times all 9 near by 'mons are 3 steps away, yet they appear next to me!

Loads of pidgeys, drowzees and zubats around everywhere I think. My work has eevees, weeedles and venonats regularly too. Don't seem to have to travel far to start seeing other pokemon however. Once particular street always seems to have electric and rarer pokemon on it. Caught my porygon there along with magnamite and voltorbs. Saw a pikachu there too but couldn't locate it to capture it.

I only needed to use earthquake once to over run a local gym :-) Stuck my Hypo there for now, will take the other local gym after work and leave either snorlax or porygon there I think. Although I do seem to be collecting jynx too.

Eggs are definitely working for me. I've been out most of the day playing. Caught loads and the servers have been very good. Only had to force quit the app around 3 times. Some weirdness going on with gyms though. Frequently get rivals Pokemon to 1hp, then nothing happens !

Oh definitely do full A if you are over 24 and doing your full test. But having a 125 to practise on in your own time helps loads. You don't need your full licence to ride around on L plates for 2 years. Once I have booked and if I pass first time my MOD2, it will have cost me £400 roughly for CBT+Theory+Mod1+MOD2+lessons/hire. Rather than the £600-£1k for a DAS course.

I'll just add to the above post, I was 26 when I bought my MSX new. I bought it new as I know I am in the lucky position I can keep it, as well as get a 2nd hand bigger bike when I want one. I've only got MOD2 left to do so I can remove my L plates, but I don't see me buying a bigger bike any time soon. The little MSX is absolutely perfect for zooming around town on 30-50mph roads and out on the back roads in the countryside. Of course, if you want speed, then it's not for you. It will get to 70mph on a good day however. Writing off 125cc as a long term thing simply because you can ride a bigger bike is wrong imo. 125cc's are ideal bikes for many people.

Just echoing the rest, stay with the big names - Honda Yamaha Suzuki. On the opposite end of the scale, if you have short legs rather than long legs, I absolutely love my little Honda MSX. You may not be able to hire a bike on a CBT licence. Many require a full bike licence for bike hire.

Took these last night at the local reservoir. Rather impressed by how shiny my car is, even though it has not been washed in weeks.

I find the virtal academy videos very dry to be honest. Seems like they drone on about minor things for far too long, then skip over more interesting things. I'm enjoying the pluralsight courses to be honest. The guys habit of pausing at random bits in sentences is a tad annoying, but they seem to flow and evolve more realistic.

Thanks for all the help guys. I'll have a look at the youtube videos and some of the books. Signed up to puralsight and will hopefully watch a bit of it today. Seems like a good website with lots of content :-)

So I'm after some advice. I'm looking to learn how to use powershell properly. Just now I only every use it to create new users, from an automatically generated script that was set up by a colleague. I know powershell an do lots of wonderful things and I would like to learn more about it. I've done some searches online, but mostly it is just scripts that people have requested for a specific thing. Tried Microsoft Virtual academy, but the few videos they have there are very dry... Ideally what I would like is something like Udacity Android dev for beginners course. It's lots of little talking videos, then an activity. Does anyone know if something like this exists for powershell?

It sounds interesting. Personally I've not had a TV licence for around 6 years now. It started due to my rented house not having an aerial. I then got used to not watching live tv. Everything I watch is through iplayer, Netflix (£7.50 per month), Now TV (free with mobile phone contract for 2 years) and amazon prime (£79 per year). Occasionally I'll venture onto 4OD. If I third Amazon primes price (because I primarily buy it for the next day delivery and it also provided music streaming) my viewing costs less than the bbc licence fee each year and I get far more content to watch when ever I like. Don't get me wrong, I think the iplayer loop hole needs closed, but I would not pay the total licence fee for something as lacking in content as iplayer currently is. I'll be keeping an eye on how this evolves. Could be good, or a complete flop in my eyes.

Think your stock cooler wasn't seated correctly if it was 90°C at idle! My i5 sits around 35°C at idle, max I've seen it at is 82°C under load, and that is enclosed in a sound proofed box :-) An i7 should not be idling much higher. As for aftermarket coolers. I've always liked Arctic Freezers. Powerful, quite and great value for money. Only reason I don;t have one on my pc is cause I forgot to add it to my order. So I stuck the stock one on just to run it for a month to test. It's doing better than I expected so I've just left it. May eventually change over to a freezer. Motherboards, Asus and Asrock are my preferences. Gigabyte is the 3rd choice. Just don't go for the base models of any of them and they are all pretty good though.

The most I ever put on my phones these days is a Dbrand skin. That is not even for protection, more cause I like my phones to be colourful! My phones generally stay in good condition, occasional my parrot will get a bit carried away and put a scratch on the screen. And I dropped my nexus 4 twice cause it was so slippy. Dropped my Nexus 5 off a table at the weekend, screen had a crack down it now, but it is hardly noticeable. I'll eventually get it sent away for repair.
