You can have one person with ear buds and one without and still translate. It just wouldn't be as fluid as far as I can see. Say an English speaking person is wearing the buds while taking to a German person. German persons says "guten Nachmittag". Ear buds translate to "Good Afternoon". English speaker says "Same to you". English speakers phone outputs "Ihnen dasselbe" via it's speaker.

Yea I do wonder how it would cope with fast talking without pauses!

The best product this year by far are the ear buds. They are the Babel Fish! And Google seems to be pretty much glossing over this massive selling point. They are expensive, but if I travelled more I would find it hard to not buy them for that feature.

I visited my local wildlife park this morning. Love visiting here, but I sense they will be splitting the wolf pack up soon. the adults have now had two full litters so there are loads of them now! A small number of them: One of the youngest pups was determined to catch some flies! One of my favourite cats: The Scottish Wild Cat And one of the stunning lynx they have. Who all to often is hiding!

I love my kevlar jeans... To bad they are too warm for working in or I simply wouldn't bother changing out of them when I get to work! Glad to hear the nerves are getting less. It's loads of fun when you don't need to concentrate so much on what your hands and feet are doing ! It was incredibly foggy on my way in this morning. Took my 125 cause it's exhaust is louder... in the fog it sounds even better!

I can just about squeeze my car into my garage, but you are lucky if I have half an inch of space at either side! Instead my garage if full of bikes (both push and motorcycles) and all the related kit that comes with them and cars. I wouldn't be without a garage now. If I didn't have motorcycles though, I'd be tempted to simply make a garage a large extension of the house.

Good plan :-) As others have said. Try making your default position on the road in the right hand tyre track of the cars. Less chance of picking up a puncture or hitting gravel there. I change to the left track if I'm going round a right hand bend. This is a little video of my commute, it's on by big bike shortly after I got it, but I do the same on the MSX. Towards the end, when I am filtering up to the roundabouts you can see the how rough the road is, making the bike judder and me weave around some of the bigger holes. This isalso where a lot of gravel accumulates and can cause you to lose traction. I'm also in the habit of mashing the indicator cancel when ever I turn a corner/bend. Even if I've not put them on!

Yea the Pixel is just as slippy as the Nexus 4 I've found. However it is much more durable Mine has been dropped countless times and still works flawlessly.

Pricing seems way off for new google stuff :-/ I'm not a fan of the glass on the back of my Pixel, however when taking a photo of yourself but using the rear camera. Basically the reflection you see in the glass is what will be in the picture. The shorter glass in the new ones now looks more ridiculous and will serve no use.

Well done! It does get much easier and you start to enjoy it more and more. Took me a good few days in a row of riding in before I really started to relax and enjoy it :-) Now, like others have said, it's usually the most enjoyable part of "work" for me is my commute by bike. However this mornings was slightly terrifying as I hit a seagull... Can in front hit it, and it tumbled into me. Thankfully no damage to the bike or me, but poor silly seagull :-(

People steal bikes for no real reason other than they are easy to steal... I have a Protector Police-Approved and Sold Secure-Approved Security Chains direct from Pragmasis 13mm and squire lock for when I am out and about on my bikes. The MSX I make sure to chain it to something immobile as it is possibly for one person to lift it into a van if they are strong enough. The BMW I'll try and chain to something immobile, otherwise the chain gets wrapped around the rear wheel and through the frame. I've got a disk lock too, but that is more a visual deterrent than any meaningful protection. They don't have the power to fully require a disk brake. Drums are cheaper. My little MSX has a disc on the rear, its an on or off situation and it seems to powerful to actually be on the bike. It is so easy to lock the back wheel with, so I pretty much never use it. Front brake does everything I need :-)

I don my CBT on a Suzuki sr125 which is similar to the YBR Custom. Lovely bike, even though it was much heavier than it looked! Really comfy though

There is a very easy way anyone in a car can check their blind spots. It requires no special equipment nor modification to the vehicle. Turn their head and look out the windows!!! As a driver you should be monitoring your blind spots by looking over your shoulders anyway. So should be no change for drivers. But how many drivers do actually check their blind spots before indicating or moving?

This one is in Worcester Yamaha YBR Custom Little over budget but get negotiating ;-) looks in nice condition aside some the scuffs. This one in Derby is currently overpriced I'd say, but looks in fantastic condition Honda CG It's coming to horrible weather season, which means selling bikes becomes harder. So can normally negotiate money off much easier!

Please do not get a Lexmoto unless you are absolutely fine with is being a disposable bike after a year (and get it dirt cheap in the first place).... Most parts disintegrate and getting replacement/spares can be a complete nightmare and take an age. How far are you willing to travel for a bike? I'l have a look and see what I can find :-)

This is what SLA's are for... both IT and "users" agree what is acceptable and do-able. If management/users want a shorter SLA than IT can currently provide, money needs spent (either on redundancy or people) SLA's are much more than timers for jobs to provide stats. They are very useful in getting funding if used and implemented correctly. We lost one of our main SAN's for 2 and a half a day a a while ago due to massive RAID failure (multiple HD failures, battery died and RAID controller failed all within a few hours of each other). Said SAN was on 3rd party limited support due to being so old. It took 2 people about two days (two full days mind- they were working from home in the evenings) to fix/replace/restore everything to working order. Once a full report was given for the down time, we suddenly got money for new SAN's with full support from the manufacture and better redundancy.
