I can't understand how the pins became bent in the first place? Surely, the only opportunity you'd have to bend them would be the initial seating of the CPU? I'm amazed it worked at all to be honest with you! Don't know of any companies who would do that kind of repair, but if you're sure you've straightened them out and it fits OK and is working, I can't see how they'd become bent again anyway unless you're constantly removing it from the mobo for some reason?

I wonder if it might be a better idea to buy a cheap Android tablet to use as the front end? Have an R-Pi churning all your data and serving it up via WiFi to a custom app on the tablet. You can get a decent enough Android tablet for under £100 now. Suppose it depends how you are at coding or how much you're willing to learn - but I guess you must be up for a challenge judging by your plans for this

I'd be tempted to go back and see if they'll sell it to you! Might be easy to fix if you know someone who's handy with electronics, alternatively you could shove an R-Pi in there with MAME running if you do it, do keep the innards though, just in case!

Whether the processor is AMD/Intel will have absolutely no effect on which software will run on it* * apart from some very specialist software, which if you were using you would already know about!

Not sure the Pi will have the power to do everything you want and run a GUI... I'd be tempted to have one Pi dealing with all the background work (monitoring, GPS etc.) and serving that data to a second Pi running the GUI/touchscreen, otherwise things could get a bit laggy... Yeah, just edit it in "Reports > Design Report" and add a filter. Silly question - have you actually clicked "Import" at the bottom of the window? The report will just sit in the list with "pending..." status until you do, that's why I ask... Also, just remembered someone else had a problem when they tried to run the report as it tries to save it to my desktop's path, so you'll need to open it up in report editor and change that path when you have imported it!

It really is terrifying how bad some LAs are at DP. Could be someone reported them so they've received warning and in typical knee-jerk response, stopped sending all together rather than doing it correctly. Purely speculation. Sounds like you're going to have to do it on your own - something SLT need to know straight away, census is due October 2nd.

I'm not familiar with VEVO, but if it has either an automated reporting feature or a DB you can access, I don't see why not with a couple of scripts...

Hi @dlucas Have you tried importing the report included in the ZIP and running that? Are you a member of the "Third Party Reporting" permissions group in SIMS?

I had this problem this week, did you update to 7.159 recently by any chance? To fix it on my network, I had to go in to "Routines > Home Page > Home Page Group Configuration" and delete everybody from the groups I had set up. Previously, these settings had created the default settings for users, but it appears that since the update they now force those settings on to users each time they login. @PhilNeal - can you confirm that? If so, is that an alteration the the functionality or a bug?

I hadn't considered the registered reader, so OK that puts random stealing of small amounts out of reach. Another question then; card cloning. I don't think it's unreasonable to imagine a thief walking around a crowded area with a concealed NFC reader (if you've ever been somewhere like Brick Lane in London on a Saturday afternoon, you'll know that you soon stop worry about being bumped in to!). If the NFC chip in the card transmits everything necessary to facilitate a transaction, which it must do as there's no secondary authentication involved, why couldn't you capture those details and program them on to a new card? As we're not talking authorised, registered devices now, we have anonymity as much as we do with any cloned card and the signal in the reader could be boosted to a point it can penetrate a couple of layers of clothing. I know banks say they'll refund any illegitimate transactions, but I don't fancy trying to convince them that I wasn't the one who made those transactions. In Sandwell, we've used a secure portal (WebXChange) for years for the secure transfer of data between departments; essentially what PSN will do nationally.

Call the LA yourself - I've never heard of an LA not providing this info, they're the ones who handle the admin! (Not sure if they still do it for academies or not)

4A is fine - the amp will draw what it needs. Voltage - always get exact Amps - specified is minimum, higher is fine, lower won't work, neither will do any damage Polarity - this has to be correct! As you'll be wiring this in yourself, just make sure to get the polarity right when you do so

Totally stupid, not only is it not possible, it's not even something that anyone would ever use if it were possible - that's what the underline button is for! I think you need to report it to the exam board and get it changed - I'm sure if you tell us which exam board and the specific exam this is in, there'd be people here willing to report it too to try to give your complaint some weight
