You can try increasing the UTM timeout, to see if that helps: https://networkguy.de/?p=780

Exchange 2013 Error creating new Database
colly72 replied to dapaulio's topic in Windows Server 2008 R2
We went from Exchange 2010 SP3 to 2016 a while ago - this would seem like your best option if you're set on 2016 DCs. As is often the case with Exchange you have to install 2016 alongside your existing 2010 servers, then migrate across. What's the pressing need for a 2016 dc? -
OK, so I've got the raw data being outputted to csv, using the Dave Hope SMDR receiver. Does anyone have any experience of this software (freeware) to create the reports? SMDR+

Are your domain controllers replicating correctly? Try Repadmin /showrepl to see if there are any issues -

Thanks for this. Been doing a bit of research myself this morning - I might try something like this: SMDR Receiver | Personal website of Dave Hope

Morning all, We recently had installed a new Avaya IP Office system, to replace our ancient Alcatel phone switch. All is working well but our Bursar has now asked if we can pull off meaningful reports from the system. I know that we can purchase off the shelf reporting software that will provide reports but we've been quoted £1500, which seems overkill for our basic needs. Does anyone have experience of tapping into the raw CDR data that the IPO outputs and converting it into meaningful data? Thanks in advance.

Here's a another link that describes the issue: SIP ALG - Intuitive Technology Knowledge Base

I don't know much about Fortigate firewalls but I've heard that SIP ALG can cause issues. Perhaps you could get them to disable it and try setting up SIP as in this document? Fortinet Knowledge Base - View Document
-
Do you know what make the firewall is?
-
Is the dropout at both ends or just internally? I know you mentioned in a previous thread that your firewall wasn't the issue but I still think it may be a config issue with that. I'd check that SIP was configured correctly and also bypass all IPS, authentication, antivirus scanning etc for your VOIP vlan. Also, as @RobD said, check to see if you can configure QoS. What firewall do you have?
-
Are you using SIP for your phone system?
-
Even though you can ping vlan to vlan, each VLAN would still be a separate broadcast domain and segmented (layer 2). A layer 3 switch allows for IP routing.
-
If you have a layer 3 router and inter vlan routing is enabled, then they will be able to ping each other. Either disable inter vlan routing or put ACLs in place

I'd think about setting up split DNS, so your internal LAN resolves to your local IP addresses for your exchange server. We set up forward lookup zones for our mail.xxxx.org.uk and autodiscover.xxxx.org.uk so that they resolve to the local exchange server IP address and not out and back in to the public IP. Have you tried the Outlook Connectivity Tester - does this all pass without errors? https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com/

Are you using split DNS?

Reset SMC or PVRAM. Battery could also be on its way out. I've had all 3 happen on my own mid-2012 Macbook Pro. Replaced battery with decent 3rd party one and this fixed my issue, after doing multiple full charge/discharge cycles.

So glad I've held off then and am working happily on 9.413-4!!!

Some people have had success apparently by removing the UTM from the domain, deleting the device account in active directory, then rejoining the domain.

VOIP no VLAN - issues with conversation dropping out
colly72 replied to fiza's topic in Wired Networks
A shot in the dark but we have Intrusion Prevention turned on, on our Sophos firewall and we had to create exceptions so that it didn't interfere with our IP Office system -
+1 for Meraki. We had it installed last Summer (60APs) and it's a joy to manage. Not had one issue since it was installed.

How about building a Wordpress website with resource booking plugin, such as: https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-booking-manager/ A responsive theme would work well on mobiles etc

Netsupport Notify Deployment Issues

Are the PCs on a different VLAN to the deploy tool? We had a similar problem -
I think it's only in transparent mode, where it's an issue: https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/126819
