Got this working on my ML115 now, using a USB SD card reader stuck in the internal USB port. May be a dumb question, but is there any way to be able to access the 'data stores' across the network?

It may be because it is Friday, but I cannot seem to find an option within ConsoleOne to DISABLE a Groupwise account however leave it on the system. Any ideas? I can't disable the eDirectory object.

The problem with 'upgrading' is I can't actually get into XP to run setup from within XP if you get what I mean!

There are some great guys in the IT department ! I nearly had a job there a couple of years ago but didn't get it, would apply for this one but I'm in a more senior level at my current job now . For some reason one of our community PCs *looks* to have some form of retail XP installed rather than the VLK copy we own. Trouble is - Activation is required on it and it won't accept the VLK key! Is there any simple way to convert it without formatting?

Well luckily the machines had a perfect spot for the little circuit board, and it has lots of ventilation holes so the signal can get out quite well. Looped a cable tie round a sticky pad thing so it is fairly secure too. Put it this way, with the case fully on it easily picked up my Bluetooth phone when I stuck it at the opposite end of the office! (And our office is fairly large!). Considering the students in theory should be sat at the machines it therefore should be perfect

For one of many projects to enhance learning bla bla bla! Actually we have hundreds of front panel USB ports from old Stone computers hmm...Does it make any difference with Bluetooth if the ports are USB1 or USB2?

Most of the new classroom machines have been pushed out, gonna get the juniors to do cable ties and good luck to them! Staff machines ain't even had a chance to look at, although can probably push them out over a few Fridays in September when their cars have magically left the car park by 2pm ...Although the refurb staff machines have been pushed out nicely! Still got some imaging to do, hopefully it will eliminate lots of problems! Just don't mention Promissor...

OK - Previous tech helped me get a better activation key which seemed to do the trick after setting up a basic dummy company. Is there any way to change the default save location from Docs and Settings > All users? The machines are going to be frozen and the people using the package might not all work out they need to save on their H:\ network drive...

We run a Sage class and this is the first time I am trying to install the software as the previous technician used to do it. I've installed the 2008 version, but then it asks me to make a new company which I don't really want to do as the machines will be Deep Freezed, and I need to find out how to tell it my serial and activation code so it doesn't keep looping into a 60 day trial mode! Any ideas?!

Nice bit of kit this - But there is a known hardware issue with the touchpad meaning mine is having to go back!! (The touchpad is picked up as a PS/2 mouse so now scrolling!). And it is not a driver issue

We've now got a license for 14 'classrooms' of the LanSchool software. So I can plan what I'm going to do next week - Can anyone answer a few questions for me: -In the demo it seemed to be restricted to only one classroom - Am I right in thinking the licensed edition allows me to lock down the admin program in each room to a specific IP range? -Would it be possible to install the admin program in a couple of machines down in our office that would allow us to see all 14 classrooms at once? -Are there any 'for dummy' guides that could be printed out and placed in classrooms for tutors to read at their leisure? Thanks!!

We do have a backup, but the network and backup server have been having rather major problems since Wednesday! Just thought it was worth asking if anyone could get the file to open but obviously not

Does anyone have any ideas (Without uninstalling and reinstalling the Novell client!) of how to clear the context list history on Novell Client 4.91SP4? There are a lot of redundant entries in the machine I am getting ready to image and I want to clear the list then add 2 contexts to it to keep things nice and simple
