I'm assuming you're referring to the not so suitable names for the crew on Captain Pugwash? If so then this is all down to Urban Myth and has been defended by the shows creators: Captain Pugwash - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Slightly bizarre is the Swearing Clangers: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clangers#Swearing

Hi All Having major issues getting this software to run from a network location. I have installed the software using the Network option on the CD and then inserted the key. When running the Software I get the following error: Could not load frmMain (339) I noticed that the program requires some shared files to be on the Local Hard Drive and some registry keys to be imported for it to run so to achieve this I have cobbled together the following batch file to launch the software: @echo off regedit /s n:\DataLogger\tts.reg XCOPY N:\DataLogger\Shared "c:\Program Files\Abington\Shared" /Y /I /Q regsvr32 /s "c:\Program Files\Abington\Shared\Abdat.ocx" regsvr32 /s "c:\Program Files\Abington\Shared\abUseful2.ocx" regsvr32 /s "c:\Program Files\Abington\Shared\oik32.ocx" regsvr32 /s "c:\Program Files\Abington\Shared\AbWMI.dll" cls echo Launching DataDisc Explore echo Please Wait echo. echo. echo This window will close when you echo quit the DataDisc Application N:\DataLogger\DatadiscPt.exe explore This has solved some of the problems but I still get the above error. Does anyone have any ideas? Cheers

Simples: Ask a Technician to come and complete a "simple" job which in actuality takes the Technician a good part of the day to complete.

Can you Just?: Stop a Technician in the middle of a busy corridor whilst he is carrying what appears to be a very light Laser Printer (why would he carry it if it is heavy?) to ask him if he can just do a job for you! Will you show me how: Loosely translated as I need this doing, do it for me!

Do not try and find the cat, only realise the truth. The truth is there is no cat. -

The staff at the school will forget that they have to do this, that is why i have been looking at doing it this way. I wonder if i could make the driver load a previously saved setting at login?

AGGGHHHH!!!! Ok people, I really need some help here. One of my schools has had a Ricoh MFD installed and networked. They want to set up locked prints for all Staff. "What's the problem?" I hear you ask, well Teaching staff and TA's have Locked Profiles. this is causing the settings to be lost when they log off. Management are fine as they don't have locked profiles. Through some wizardry and registry files I have found a way to create each user's settings when they log on. They provide their printercode and name and the printer is setup for them (this happens at EVERY logon). It's not pretty but it does the job. the problem is, this only adds the credentials to printer. It doesn't force it to Locked Print as I thought it would. I have asked for a Ricoh Engineer to call me to see if there is anywhere that I can force this setting. On top of this I am not allowed to setup a Print Server, I am not allowed to change the profiles to unlocked and I am only at the school for one morning a week. Can anyone help me at all?? These are the Registry Keys i am using: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RICOH] [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RICOH\JOBCODE] [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RICOH\JOBCODE\JCOwnerID] "RICOH Aficio MP C3500 PCL 6"="" [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RICOH\JOBCODE\JCPrintPassword] "RICOH Aficio MP C3500 PCL 6"=hex:<>00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RICOH\JOBCODE\JCUserID] "RICOH Aficio MP C3500 PCL 6"="<>" Thanks all

WOW, Thought this would go over a bit better than it obviously has. Anyway, made me laugh when i got some of the teachers with it! -
Hi all Not sure if you aware but there is now a website that you can use to check if you are expecting to receive any speeding tickets. Just enter your reg and it will tell you if there are any active speeding violations against that number. If you do have one there is the option to see a picture of the alleged offence. I did it and i was clocked at 31 in a 30 zone. See if you have been naughty: UK Speed Camera Database. Check to see if you have been caught speeding
