Have you done adprep for a 2008 domain controller?

Too many variables here - are you loading it with UPS's, Servers, Switches or just patch panels How many servers and types, models, loaded specification, load on the server, single or dual psu;s How many switches are the poe or not - if they are poe are all ports fully loaded with haevy weight devices or just ap's. How many UPS = are the ups only powering the rack or is there standard servers at the side too. Any NTU's powered KVM's, monitors?

What about a server in a domain of its own with a swith to connect it to the laptops and no internet connection but can be centrally controlled (logons/restrictions etc) and can also be a shared drive to e tc.machine for a central store for easy backup etc.

Its also a great tool to take a backup before any major updates, releases or major changes etc (or just as a weekley backup in case anything bad happens!)

Backup using akeeba and then restore to the main server location

Plan, plan, allow a few weeks, plan some more, work out how much time you need, add at least 20% to that, double check you havent missed anything, add another 20% for the things you missed first time, carry out the work, spend a week firefightig problems.

Why not just create a custom MMC with all your servers in it and access them that way - neat tidy, can store all your credentials and opens all servers with a single thing?

what about giving the printers static IP's either direct in the printer settings or by using dhcp reservations? then the ip of he printer will never change?

a couple of days of "normal" usage and it generally gets reset - however it will get limited very quickly in the future if you use it excessively again. little and often is the key here.

Yes but unlimited is never truly unlimited!! and yes uploading to youtube does matter - any form of traffic going to and from the internet!

Because unlimited XL still has a fair usage policy and you have probably used too much for too long.
