The service will always run even if you have disabled all firewall functionality, the service is linked to some other windows services and therefore cant be stopped (from what i know) just the traffic control part will not do anything if you disable it!

A-Syncronous = not the same upload and download - therefore 48mb down and 1.5 to 5 up is about right, for a connection with the same up and down you need "Syncronus" as in "in sync" and an awful lot more expensive! But surely we should be allowed to choose what we eat, the same as we can choose what sports we like to watch or take part in, what clothes we like to wear, i shouldnt be told you must not eat meat because i dont.
