If you go into the local security policy for the computer in the user rights assingments theres a option called "Shutdown the system" just remove all the users from there and only put in administrator or your user and it will remove the shutdown and restart from the shutdown box. You could also go in security options and set "Shutdown: Allow system to be shutdown without having to logon" to disabled and that would prevent it from being shutdown from the logon screen Jack

You dont need to type in the user and password for using localhost you should have a radio button option to check that says localhost and that should grey out the host/user/pass boxes. If there is no localhost option that means the service is not running or it cant communicate with the service for some reason Jack

Yeah you cant transparently proxy https, its a man-in-the-middle attack. Do you have IP Forwarding turned on because thats what i needed to enable for mine to allow https to pass straight through

Hope its a good one!

You cant pause live tv or record it if your not subscribed to Sky+, we got a sky+ box from a friend and we tried it using our normal sky card and it just didnt allow us to record or pause live tv without subscribing to Sky+. Dont know if it actually works without subscribing at all though. Jack

I use gnuMP3d, its a program that runs on linux and it will make your music web accessible and you can stream it, it also orginises it (sort of) and will let you search it etc.. Take a look here it can probably explain it better than me
