LOL at techguy! Yes it could well be damaged. Might be fine though. If you don't feel confident get somebody else to have a go - I love ripping apart servers... the hardware is soooo pretty I would go a little beyond the 24hrs - clean it up as best you can and leave somewhere warm and dry for a week or so if possible. We have a coffee machine in our server room! Takes a real ID-10T to put any drink on top of a server so we're safe... for now...

I love my modified XBOXs. They're awesome. I just can't agree with you. You've paid for a product but it isn't yours to do what you like to and expect to use a service that Microsoft provide. It would be like installing a new engine in your car and then expecting to compete in a race for only stock cars. It's a hard thing to compare to a car. The changes you suggest are, sort of, equivalent to changing the LEDs or adding a screen. As far as I understand the latest bans are designed to prevent people playing modified game DVDs online. True 1:1 copies are not detected. If the XBOX has been modified using software and hardware built from the ground up (not changing Microsoft's developed code or using their SDK) and you are not using this to harm Microsoft or cheat online then I would agree - even though the console is sold at a loss - because this is not harming the companies which have developed the hardware or software. If I played online with a console that contains different code then I would fully expect to be banned.

You need to register for iTunes to get artwork now... WMP will do it fine and won't 'reorganise' your music... Another vote for ID3Tag-ItT... lovely bit of software

Right. I MUST be missing something here. I'm trying to make an MSI from an EXE. I'm using WinINSTALL LE. Run discover. Install program 'B Gone' and setup wordlist, password etc Perform 'After' snapshot and an msi is created with some other files and folders. If I remove the software and run the created MSI works perfectly and installs the software again... even works on another computer if I run it manually logged in with my account. Any other user logs in and it doesn't work... dialog requiring FlshTray.ocx. Log back in with my account and it works fine... Can anyone see what's happening here?

Something practical ideally... I've sat a few of those paper tests and you can usually tell they've been written by a geek... something like "What is the voltage of an AGP 4X graphics card?" or "What is the clock frequency of an AMD 2200XP CPU?"... Do you have to leave 'right' answers? I'd go for multiple choice and include a couple of "Which is best, hardware or software?"

That is indeed pants. Must be something wrong...
