It's very annoying. My mum is looking to buy a laptop and keeps showing me various deals on laptops. I get shown the ad and most of them are celerons with the rest of the machine having an ok spec. Another thing that annoys me is the amount of crap software & trials that get pre loaded with new PCs.

Here's how the pilot managed it: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yo-BZM5BfU]YouTube- Making of Belly of the Beast[/ame] -
What about clonezilla?

From what i've read, the data can be retrieved via a ia64 system or a debian virtual machine floating around on the netgear readynas forums. As far as i know it uses either the ext2 or ext3 filesystem with a larger block size that cannot be read by x86/amd64 machines. FYI: the free drive can only be claimed via an authorised netgear reseller like amazon or ebuyer

I did this at one point.... ....only because it was one of the very few sites that were allowed in a whitelist at one of the places i studied at.

Another give away is when you use the classic theme on XP and one of these pops up with the blue luna theme

+1 about the cookies bit. I found it always used to remove safe cookies (forum logins for example) and class them as a tracking cookie. MBAM/Spybot are my 2 favourites for malware removal

I'm not so sure if tesco have any stores in Australia My PSN username is the same as on here, but i only tend to play driving games (that is when i find the time to play it!).

what happens if you try booting from a floppy with this image and the XP cd in the cdrom drive? edit - scrap that method (it requires a floppy drive & drive to work). try the iso image route as mentioned above

Debian here as well. I've got an old dell laptop with a low amount of ram and ubuntu stuggled whereas debian ran fine

I've just done that but it set itself to 31/5/2019 on startup. so, welcome to 2019 then!

YAY - mine now works, but its now the 31st of May!?!?!

My guess is that Sony are waiting for the RTC to roll over to the 1st March to see if it fixes it. PS. http://www.edugeek.net/forums/behind-red-door/51175-welcome-december-31st-1999-a.html

somewhere between the 28th of February 2010 and the 1st of March 2010 according to the reports, yes. only if you have a fat PS3 that isn't one of the 160GB ones (apparently they don't have the problem).

Now developers’ PS3s are hit by system errors | Game Development | News by Develop Apparently PS3 Dev units are stuck in an endless reboot, so it's not looking good for Sony at the moment!

After doing a bit more digging around it seems to be only the Phat PS3s that have the issue. The Slim ones seem to be fine though edit - even setting the time manually has no effect so i guess it's a firmware bug
-
Nice one Sony! I thought i'd just send a few PSN messages to a few of my friends and couldn't sign into the playstation network. So i dig through the settings only to find that my PS3's clock is messed up and won't reset even when set manually. After a quick search, i came across this: PlayStation Network down, so are lots of PS3s (update) -- Engadget

It must be hard not to include that dodgy korean 747 landing at kai tak (even though that was a pretty normal landing in strong crosswinds) in these types of videos -
Since people have posted links to other liveries, i thought i'd chip in with the 'wunala dreaming' scheme from qantas Photos: Boeing 747-438 Aircraft Pictures | Airliners.net Photos: Boeing 747-438 Aircraft Pictures | Airliners.net
